The platform is flexible, and they showed it with a Hurricane engine and a transmission .
The question is if the engine bay is big enough to swap in a HEMI without major modifications.
Well, the HEMI tick had a tried and true solution that Dodge knew about, but decided to ignore it to not spend more money.
You want to avoid having a HEMI tick, disable or replace the MDS or get a manual transmission.
One need to keep in mind the breakdown of the trims, engines and options.
For example, I was searching on Autotrader and Cars for a 6-speed manual WB Shaker Challenger, but they are not easy to find.
Yes, I do have ‘17 Scat Pack Shaker with 6-speed. But, I was looking if something can pursue...
I’d understand the huge supply for Charger, Challenger and the 300, since the old L-cars production ended in Dec and the new Charger replacement production won’t start until, maybe, the second half of the year.
Since being the last of the run, and as with other manufacturers, price gouging is...
Turbo engines are easy to tune if you know your $hit around them and you can remove the unnecessary exhaust dampening cases and have one hell of stututu.
I get the idea and the importance of Stellantis getting and making their own EV.
My point is other than Tesla, everyone else is losing money on making these vehicles and the majority of the automaker started rethinking their EV strategies.
Except of Stellantis whom are getting on on full speed...
Here is a competitor losing more than half the price of every vehicle, but because of the emissions and fuel efficiency credits, they are able to still offer V8’s. Yet, they are not too keen on the next generations of the current models...
Well, it’s becoming evident that buyers of sports cars are preferring and choosing ICE option over EV, if they were offered both options for the same car.

EV is fast only when it's fully charged, and that's take 45-60minutes, compared to filling a tank of gas in less than 5minutes.
When the infrastructure supports the proposed change over to full EV, then come back and tell me the EV is better than the ICE or Hybrid.
The American side of Stellantis needs to have EV vehicles whether we like it or not.
They need to have a sustainable plan to face the administration change every 4 years, and the regs that come with them.
The way I understood it:
1- STLA Large is corporate renaming of the platform that was planned for the upcoming L-cars.
2- This new platform is, to put is simple, a hybrid between the old L-platform and the Giorgio platform.
