    Chrysler is here to stay

I'm curious if they have prepared any new crossover designs for Chrysler/Lancia. Since neither brand has an identity and serve different regions why not badge engineer product for them. Start with B-/C- segment crossovers, but with low slung coupe-ish like styling with a focus on on-road...

    Chrysler is here to stay

I really didn't see CUSW surviving beyond the current generation of models, since they seem to have abandoned it otherwise. EMP2 is likely a more suitable candidate for any FWD models from Stellantis until their fully electric platform is ready. With SRT engineers spread across the brands now...

    Chrysler is here to stay

I was in love with the lines of this thing, so hopefully they go all out. I thought they put this on hold for the US or is this the on again off again model we keep hearing about?

    Chrysler is here to stay

Well said. That's exactly what I was eluding to as Chrysler becoming the hybrid/electric brand for North America. Peugeot/Citroen/DS models can easily be reskinned for the US market, but still maintain versatility and uniqueness.

    Chrysler is here to stay

I get where you're coming from, because according to all automakers gasoline models will no longer be available by 2030-2035. Let's be realistic about this, Americans especially oil and gas companies will fight to keep their industries alive, while customers will not likely bend to a new tech...

    Chrysler is here to stay

Ummm the A3 is about to replaced this year with an all new version, so it's far from being dead. The A3 also has a loyal following like GTi buyers. The CT4 however, was never going to be a major player in the segment. Cadillac consistently screws up its cars, that's why they are always...

    Chrysler is here to stay

Sedans are dying for the mainstream brands, but not in the premium/luxury segment. Ford got rid of all its sedans in the US because none (including Lincoln) of them were exceptional, so they had a reason to abandon the market. However, Stellantis has the ability use the same models in...

    Chrysler is here to stay

There's a beauty in this, as Chrysler is a blank slate. They could easily reskin models from Peugeot and DS to return Chrysler to its premium position among the NA brands. Chrysler deserves a unique line that does 4 things well as displayed with the Pacifica--style, fuel efficiency, technology...

    LIVE: Unveiling Of The All-New Three-Row 2021 Jeep® Grand Cherokee L:

@redriderbob Do you know if they plan to spread this gorgeous Summit interior to models below the Grand Cherokee? IMO, Jeep could definitely give Land Rover/Range Rover a run for their money if that's the case.

    Meet The All-New Three-Row 2021 Jeep® Grand Cherokee L:

😭😭😭 Say it ain't so--2 years?? At least they are taking their time to get it out, so I'm sure it'll be phenomenal this time around. Looking at the GCL's interior quality, I'm thinking it's worth the wait.

    Meet The All-New Three-Row 2021 Jeep® Grand Cherokee L:

Do you guys remember these images when they where about to announce the Grand Wagoneer? I was sure then they were sketches of what would replace the KL. As a smaller sportier sibling something that looked like this would fit perfectly.

    Meet The All-New Three-Row 2021 Jeep® Grand Cherokee L:

I have to agree with both of you in certain aspects. Bili already mentioned the CUSW platform being orphaned, definitely seems to be the case since there are no other models in the US built on it besides the Pacifica. If they are pushing Jeep upmarket with the Renegade and Compass growing in...

    Meet The All-New Three-Row 2021 Jeep® Grand Cherokee L:

For now at least. We can expect an short wheelbase version to join the GCL likely in the 3rd quarter of this year as a 22MY.

    Meet The All-New Three-Row 2021 Jeep® Grand Cherokee L:

FMC = Final Model Change I figured that they were getting rid of the CUSW platform since it was deemed too heavy with the Dart and 200. The only options would be a stretched/widened SUSW platform or some version of the Grigorio. From a development standpoint, I would think it would be more...

    Meet The All-New Three-Row 2021 Jeep® Grand Cherokee L:

The new Cherokee is also scheduled for FMC this year though, so I'm curious if the work has ready started? Seems Jeep is the one brand that things are seemingly staying on schedule sans the Wagoneer/GW.

    Meet The All-New Three-Row 2021 Jeep® Grand Cherokee L:

Thank you sir for giving me hope!! After seeing this new GCL, FCA (Stellantis) has me excited again about their upcoming models. Hopefully, they will leave Jeep and Ram to continue their surge. I've given up on my poor Dodge and Chrysler..😪😪

    Meet The All-New Three-Row 2021 Jeep® Grand Cherokee L:

I'm very curious since they announced this platform as a "unique unibody", will that prompt them to move the Cherokee (KL) to a shortened wheelbase version. The standard Grand Cherokee will still get a larger wheelbase of 115" inches and overall length of 195" or longer. This leaves plenty of...

FCA: investment for Alfa suv in Pomigliano

I'm anxious to see what becomes of the investment and what else will be coming from this plant. When hearing that whatever Alfa announces at Geneva may not hit the market until September 2020, it was disappointing. Then I thought after hearing this, maybe they meant September for ramp up of a...
