Time to act on this Rampage. This idea has been bounced around, analyzed and advocated for at least a year and still no decision. If we start today we are looking at a year or more to get it to market. So much time wasted on something that looks prime time right now. A tweak here, a tuck there...
I’m a fan of most anything Italian, my son owns a Stelvio, so I’m interested big time. I am Mopar to the bone, so I guess this brand, forced by corporate acquaintance, is semi-Mopar, and I’m half Italian, sooooo, it’s all in the family.
Pizza anyone ?
Thanks for agreeing, but I rarely take or advocate much I write as deeply held dogma or absolute opinion , properly viewed it is often for amusement or entertainment as I deliberately mix in some silly opinions. That said, I do like that Charger. Seriously.
Initially I thought the V-8 was not...
The “Golden Age of America” is dawning and the U.S. auto businesses will be a big part of that renaissance. The Belvedere community must give this revolution of prosperity time to develop, but make no mistake, these temporary bargaining tool tariffs will fuel additional non taxation government...
Good news for upstate New York which has been devastated by economic decline and huge population loss to “greener pastures”. New York, few people know, has such natural beauty, lakes and mountains that rival much more recognized regions and is dotted by quant and once viable towns and cities...
Dodge, under difficult and frankly philosophically hostile conditions created a terrific performance vehicle. Note, I did not use the term muscle car because under these intimidating circumstances and engineering necessities, that would have been unacceptable to Lord Tavares and not physically...
Just because I may not want the inconvenience and added anxiety of an all electric car does not mean there is not a viable place for them in the marketplace and any improvement to these electrics is a good thing. I’m even rethinking my absolute rejection to hybrids as long as they are not plug...
No way I and few others would consider a Grand Cherokee with a turbo four. Has Jeep not learned from the electrification fiasco now rampant across the industry? Has the abject failure of the Wagoneer S not taught them anything? Will the new Cherokee really come only with a hybrid? I’m out on...
Ram and Dodge both need something to boost its sagging reputation and sales.
All in on their return as I have not followed NASCAR since Dodge left the series.
I also believe development of a new Dodge, Hemi Cuda as rumors hint, for NHRA Factory Stock would be a necessary requirement for Dodge...
My superb Cherokee will be eight years old in August and my wife and I have been waiting for the next generation.
FULL STOP ! If it does not offer a V-6 gas engine, we are out on this new generation. Looking elsewhere if hybrid is the only engine.
Sorry Jeep.
I was in with Eagle. Owned a Premier. Owned an Eagle Talon TSI-AWD which I drag raced for years including winning Bracket III Stock Eliminator at the Mopars at Maple Grove 1992 event and runner up Heavy Eliminator at the Mopar Atlantic Nationals at Englishtown. That turbo four AWD was a killer...
Challenger trash? I agree this opinion is baseless. Dodge for two years was ranked the best built brand.
My 2019 Challenger R/T Plus has been flawless for six years and counting, build quality is outstanding for its rather modest price that delivers an amazing and exciting ride. Dodge might be...
Totally agree, it shows an aggressive effort reflective of adventurous thought, but not a realistic thematic styling signature. The new 300 sedan will most likely be spun off the Charger family including their power trains plus a hybrid with, based on this new marketing philosophy, one based on...
Really great news for Ram. The lifestyle Rampage from Brazil and the Dakota mid size would be game changes. Filling these glaring gaps in the Ram portfolio is beyond needed and the wait has been frustrating as well as a big money making lost opportunity to date. While the Rampage gains accolades...
I have and remain a critic of Chrysler’s leadership which even from this video clearly shows she knows nothing besides reading off a prepared script about the Chrysler legacy. Instead of posing next to that beautiful Chrysler, she should sit in it, experience it and try, just try hard, to feel...
Thank heavens!! Finally some sanity, a reality check, listening to the customers.
Took some time, but Chrysler has made the best possible choice.
Thank heavens!
One must remember who holds the majority of the stock. It’s not small stockholders like myself who voted by proxy against this insanity, but corporate interest who follow a code of entitlement and protection for their own. This guy gets millions when his incompetence cost the company billions...
Without a doubt the only way for Dodge to return to its recent glory is to build something like this amazing, but very easily done, performance coupe.
I avoided the term “muscle car” with purpose because the hefty Charger is not a muscle car but a large and with the right accessories...
Not to belabor our conversation, but that was my exact impression, someone at Chrysler styling is hung up on that 200/ Pacifica van front end real bad and so “here we go again” on a look that sunk the overall really poorly done 200 and had to be changed on the Pacifica. Oh yes by the way on the...
I think we are saying the same thing, the Airflow IS too cookie cutter and although the basic elements of SUVs or a flying spur as I view the Airflow are commonly shared, things like grills, front fenders, body accents and tail lights make a huge difference that demand classic brand cues to set...
