Going to be interesting to see how many of these they can move at $85k. The one pictured in post #124 looks great. Looks very Dodge. I like it. But... EV ... ick and $85k...ick ick.
It's nearly November. WHEN are they actually going to price and start selling the new Charger? This is getting ridiculous. They've been talking about it for 3 years and advertising it for 2. What is going on?
The product they were putting out until Stellantis took the reins was propelling the company to heights they had never seen before....outselling NEW Mustang and Camaro offerings with the outdated Challenger, pushing Ram past Chevrolet for the first time ever, and putting Wranglers in every...
I got a '18 or '19 model JL Wrangler as a loaner once while my Jeep was in the shop. It had the 2.0T engine. I was extremely impressed with power and MPG. Felt very strong, much stronger in "feel" than the 3.6 P-star engine. MPG was also great as I saw low 20s while I had it, compared to...
Which engine are we talking about here? I traded my 2021 Gladiator EcoDiesel in with around 15,000 miles on the clock and leased a Ram 1500. The people who bought my Gladiator had it for a few months and it caught fire on them. They were driving when it happened, so they were able to pull...
Pure speculation at this point, but the Pentastar engine is getting old. All the changes you're seeing in the U.S. market is solely emissions driven. I personally believe they are going to slowly phase out the 3.6 P-star going forward.
They don't mind showing it off because we saw that truck 17 years ago. Nothing to hide.
I'm still holding out hope of seeing a new Ram HD lineup before I'm in a nursing home one day. I believe it can happen!
Right. You know what they say about first impressions. First impressions are everything.
Why would you release the new car in EV form only, knowing full well that most buyers don't want EV and ALL buyers of muscle cars don't want EV? The I6TT version of the car will have at least a little...
Random side note: That picture is the color they are calling "After Dark" and it looks exactly like "Patriot Blue" that's been on the Ram trucks since the beginning of time. Looks like that color is FINALLY going to also make it to the Jeep Wrangler under the name "Fathom Blue". Don't know...
This @MotorMaven person has to be kidding. $19 a gallon? So what are we going to do to make up for the irreparable damage caused to the planet by these mineral mines? What about the run-away lithium fires? I was just talking to a union electrician last week who has been assigned to work on...
I haven't seen that. What I've seen is that all V8 truck inventory was gone many months ago, and now that you can't get a new V8 Ram the prices on used ones are increasing.
Gas prices are decreasing (with an election coming up) and likely will decrease more afterward depending upon outcome...
Well that's not looking good for them either, as Ram sales for the first six months of 2024 were down nearly 20%. The only truck doing marginally worse is the Nissan Titan.
This is like solving a Rubik's Cube that has only one color, and Stellantis just doesn't know how to figure it out...
And now that inventory is drying up for Dodge/Chevy it looks like Ford is starting to really cash in. Q2 2024 Mustang sales were up almost 28%.
Stellantis couldn't successfully operate a lemonade stand on a street corner, much less an auto company.
Here in KY most departments have already switched. GM's Tahoe and Ford's Explorer are the two main choices that I see daily. That's pretty much the only things they order and it's been that way for almost two years now. I think they figured out that the SUVs are just as fast as a Charger...
Saw an article today about how the 3.0 engines are having overheating issues. And apparently the water pump is a full day job to change. Some kind of plastic components inside the pump failing. See, this was my fear all along. You've got an engine that doesn't have 8 cylinders, doesn't have...
I'm thinking now $39,995 ain't happening. But hopefully it'll still come in under $50k for the base Six Pack.
When will the EV version hit the build and price tool online? Soon??
In 2005 Ford was still using the Interceptor name on their police fleet cars. Would have been interesting to see how that lawsuit would have panned out....
Anybody care to take a crack at what you think the base price will be when the Six Pack model comes out next year? Like the absolute least expensive version of this new Charger? I'm thinking $49,980.
