AFAIK no. And this technology is not something which doesn't exists but it's not often and Stellantis, actually this is ex FCA project, may be unique in some way.
They've mentioned something with huge battery but I'm not sure that it's technically BEV.
Actually I would put my hand in a fire and say that STLA Frame on the presentation had big battery and place to put internal combustion engine.
And they called it REPB, something like that, Range Electric...
This is in contrast to Europe. Maybe it depends on what you consider as a public transport. And it may be very different from country to country, and even from city to city.
Usually public transport like city buses, tramways and similar city transport, sucks if it's privately owned.

Based on the available information your claim is false. STLA Medium size according to slides will not exceed 4.9 meters in length and around 1.9 meters in width. It's all about SLTA Large for, hmh, large unibody cars.
BTW it seems that Windsor is going with STLA Large in the future. Chrysler...
