Here Is Why The Hellephant Motor Will NEVER Make It In A Mass Production Vehicle:

Any hints regarding the “industry guy”? Also, what is “TEI”?

Here Is Why The Hellephant Motor Will NEVER Make It In A Mass Production Vehicle:

True in a sense. There is generally a correlation between horsepower and gas mileage. The 5.7 could be made a lot more efficient with forced induction. That would not increase gas mileage, but provide more horsepower for marginal increase in fuel consumption (reduction in gas mileage).

Not everything, just an excuse to introduce the channel in a TRX focused forum. ;)

Here Is Why The Hellephant Motor Will NEVER Make It In A Mass Production Vehicle:

Two approaches: Sell more low end cars Lobby to end the silly fines What did the federal government do with those fines? Plant $77 million worth of trees? CAFE needs an update (and is currently undergoing review).

Here Is Why The Hellephant Motor Will NEVER Make It In A Mass Production Vehicle:

But the non-crate engine will?!?!? (you gotta admit - you walked right into that one!) Yes, we get it - no Hellephant in anything ever. https://www.allpar.com/news/2018/10/426-hellephant-crate-engine-packs-1000-horsepower-42739 'Also, with the ongoing rumors that a 426 would be coming to...

    WE GOT SOME EXCITING NEWS!!!

Very well done - I've seen a fair amount of vehicle review videos and some other car/truck stuff that can be best described as amateur non-entertainment. This was a professionally executed video by someone who knows vehicles inside and out, knows what is relevant, and knows to what one should...

Here Is Why The Hellephant Motor Will NEVER Make It In A Mass Production Vehicle:

Well what the hey, why not stir the pot . . . "With that being said, they [Prefix] do not have the volume to produce the engine block in the capacity required for such a production vehicle." - FCA does and the specs can be implemented at FCA facilities. "if FCA decides to build a 1,000...

Is The 426 HEMI-Powered Ram 1500 TR Dead On Arrival?

Blasphemy!!! In all seriousness, if Ram puts out a TR that loses a performance comparison to the Raptor, it will invite all manner of negative criticism, even if the TRX obliterates the Raptor. The TR would be the price competitive version. If Ram puts out a weaker TR and a TRX that...

Is The 426 HEMI-Powered Ram 1500 TR Dead On Arrival?

Another year . . .:( Unless that "2021" was a misprint, or the model year?

SCOOP: 2020 Dodge Charger Will Get Widebody With Two Models:

Aren't all of FCA's brands effectively Italian owned? That was my point. Ducati is no more German than Jeep is Italian. Perhaps the legal wrangling between FCA US, LLC and other Fiat enterprises have obscure technical/financial boundaries, but at the end of the day, Mike Manley, the CEO of FCA...

    Jan U.S. Sales...up 2% for FCA

Ram and Jeep are still breaking sales records while competitors are in decline, closing plants, and laying people off. This is very good news for FCA.

SCOOP: 2020 Dodge Charger Will Get Widebody With Two Models:

German owned perhaps, but Ducati is otherwise an Italian company, just like Jeep is Italian owned, but is still otherwise American.

SCOOP: 2020 Dodge Charger Will Get Widebody With Two Models:

This is OUTSTANDING news! I can’t wait to seeit! I’m not in n the market for a car, but someday I hope to get a Charger for my wife - likely used, but my purchase will hopefully contribute to resale value. That said, I am writing a book - if that sells well, I’ll flood the garage with a TRX...

Is Ram Looking At Building A Street-Based Performance Pickup?

Yeah, I remember seeing the news about doing it in warmer months and making it at least a partly outdoor venue. As far as the TRX at the auto show this year, my skepticism seems warranted as reliable sources don’t see that happening. That said, I doubt we’ll have to wait for next year’s June...

Is Ram Looking At Building A Street-Based Performance Pickup?

Thank you to Brett Ruddish of the Facebook Ram Rebel TRX group (https://m.facebook.com/groups/1812830642341407) for this find: http://gmauthority.com/blog/2018/12/mid-engine-corvette-will-not-debut-at-2019-detroit-auto-show/ “The 2020 Ram HD and Ram TRX are also rumored to debut.” I’m...

Is Ram Looking At Building A Street-Based Performance Pickup?

It will make a lot of people happy that such a beast is available. They’ll no doubt express their displeasure if a Hellcat is not at least an option (even though the 426 Hemi would do all that such a truck needs to do - and for the dragstrip, you stuff a Hellephant in it anyway). Not my thing...

Meet The 2019 Jeep® Gladiator Pickup Truck:

Another FCA home run. Well thought out features, storage, etc. People have been waiting a long time for this. I get the impression they will be glad it is here and was worth the wait.

Meet The 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12 Special Edition:

Very happy to see this. I wasn't sure if they were going to put that in a Rebel considering it's off-road and not necessarily luxury focus, but it is an option I want.

Meet The Company Building HELLCAT Rebel TRX Replicas:

LOL - I thought I had responded to this - might have been in a hurry and wasn't logged in. I shared the article to my Facebook TRX group. Yes, very cool, but, it's on another continent, and the real McCoy is on it's way. I pestered Prefix about a more TRX focused Minotaur and as you can...
