The European Line up will be very weak for an Alfa Romeo. Probably 1.5 MHEV 130/160hp FWD, 1.3 4WD PHEV 190/240hp (Maybe more, There were rumors of 80hp eAxle for Alfa instead of the 60hp Jeep one), with no 2.0 option… and a poor 1.6 FWD 130hp diesel version… very very poor motors for a premium...
We will see the first step between Giorgio and Large in the Grecale BEV. ;)
The new FIAT 500e eMini base also has battery on the floor and possibility of front or rear motor(s). But it’s still an evolution of the « classic » 500 base. ;)
STLA Large is the BEV evolution of Giorgio.
I hope that next Charger and Challenger will not have a 4cyl. option.
The success of current generation is because of the « bold » engine choice. In the other hand, Mustang and Camaro are no more MuscleCars with 4cyl. engines, and Dodge took the lead in MuscleCar segment. Who would have...
No wow effect about interiors… Lake of luxury for me. But it’s an entry level version. I hope higher trim level with more wood or metal (aluminium, carbon) in the cabin.
2.0 MHEV engine useless with poor expected sales in Europe and US. Maybe in Cina but I don’t think so. Lake of PHEV version…
AN reported that « old » 5oo ICE/MHEV will be dismissed from Poland, to get full 500e in Mirafiori that will take the place of the current/old 5oo ICE/MHEV. There isn’t an other model, I think.
If we see the length of STLA Small, we see more eMini level than CMP.
STLA Small seems to have length between 355/360cm to 430/435cm, ans width between 170 to 180cm. Wich are like the same level of 500e and the aborted Polish SUVs.
CMP stars from 390 to 465cm…
The same décision for Stellantis Europe would be great… but with the investments in French factories to produce the new 1.2 Puretech Punch MHEV, it won’t be the same…
