A VERY good point is the eQ4 PHEV system with Torque Vectoring and a RWD 100kW/134hp motor, with a 15.5kWh battery pack. Way better than the previous Compass PHEV 4xe system.
With an outstanding 50mi/80km range in City cycle.
Also, Jeep Compass seems to have better interiors (like screen integration) from what we can see. Another Desappointing point… but those details have to be confirmed live.
Good technologies, only 2 good motors the PHEV for Europeann market, and the 2.0 Q4 for US, but with lake of « Alfa » power.
The rest is very disapointing. Stiling is « old » and proportions are quite awfull.
For me Compass is better, and not because of its « top » styling. Interiors seem good...
It seems that all new models of Chrysler will be on STLA Large base (Giorgio evolution). Good. Better than STLA Medium.

Ok but the Green way is the futur (and I think it already is).
A only available PHEV 4WD powerfull Tonale/Hornet line-up all around the world would have been much better.
Only 252hp (255cv) for the 2.0 4WD, and a top of the range 1.3 PHEV is very désappointing for Alfa Romeo…
Anyway they both (2.0 and 1.3) will be in the high-5s range for 0-60 if my prédiction on weight is right.
The Dodge Twin Hornet will certainly be a little bit longer and more powerfull, I...
The PHEV is ok but none as a top of the range…
The rest will be difficult to sell in Europe due to CO2, even with MHEV, and the Diesel is dead.
Very very Italocentric range…
And for US, I hope that a more powerfull version of the 2.0 will be available… with a 325hp 2.0 MHEV 4WD, it could be in...
The 2.3 Ford motor is to little for a Muscle Car and if Stellantis will deliberate a 2.0 Challenger replacement, they will make a big mistake.
BEV are « bold » enough for Muscle, but not the 4cil. engines. Fortunatly they have GME T6 also in program.
I think we will see the 2.0 GME soon in the Compass, with the arrival of the 2.0 in US, under the Tonale and Hornet.
A Toro US version would (should) likely use this engine to.
FCA/Stella should bring Toro all over the world, even in Europe to, with FIAT Pro badge and of course in US with RAM badge. Maybe in the « Promaster » Line-up like other FIAT rebadges.
A Ram Promaster line-up with:
Promaster,
Promaster City,
Promaster Truck
It doesn’t sound bad.
RAM also...
It’s the entier line-up that diserve Camaro and Mustang. And they have « European Coupe » size and style. They aren’t American Muscle anymore IMO.
With no 4cil and very bold size and style, and bold motors too, the Charger/Challenger make the difference with record market share/sales.
I hope...
And made the oldest and « weakest » (prior to FCA) Muscle Car, the best selling one, with fine interior and (record) powerstep update.
I think that today, the Challenger (and also the Charger) is the only one of its kind. The 2 others with « European » taste and 4cil. motors have lost most of...
Yes, like Dart… that I like but with very weak engine options… (a too small 1.4 and a too old 2.4, but at time they didn’t have other choices…)
And with only 2.0 PHEV 4xe options, the avarage mpgs of Dodge would have been even better than with the expected 1.3 PHEV and 2.0 ICE 4wd only options…...
They have to do carefully with Dodge, they have done a superb job under FCA for the brand power, and I hope that they will do like this in futur.
The BEV Muscle is a very good idea for this brand. I don’t think so about the Tonale twin Hornet, with « little » motors. I hope that they will not...
