I think Mr.T is only aiming to profitability… so I think that the 3 exFCA SUV produced in Poland will unfortunatly use the poor exPSA 3cyl. 1.2 Puretech instead of the much better 1.5 GSE MHEV P2 « full hybrid ». However, the new 1.2 Puretech with MHEV P2 Punch technology will be able to produce...
The little B-SUV won’t be sold in US because of the exPSA platform which is not US compliant.
But some rumors says that it weel be available in an AWD version thanks to exFCA Torino’s work.
I think this version will be BEV eAWD.
Maybe, when the French State (via BPi France) will quit the board (it’s an option with Peugeot taking 1.5% of shares, before january 2024), and with the special voting rights at the same time (3 years after the merger), Exor wil have 22% of voting rights, which in IFRS will deem Exor to have...
I think Alfa and Maserati could have V6 sporty options… but BEV will redimension the « power »… a V6 with 800hp will not be a le to compete with BEV 1000-1500hp powertrains…
The dismission of the French Permanent Establishment of Stellantis (not the principal one in Netherlands, and the other in Italy) seems to be a possibility for Stellantis…
It appears in the Annual Report:

This Grand Cherokee is a MASTERPIECE.
Manley has done a very good job with Jeep (Maybe the Grand Cherokee is a Marchionne’s job), and a very bad job for the rest.
Horrific thèse pictures of Hornet which seems to be a very little more of a simple rebadge…
Very bad for both brands… At this point it would be better to not sell the Tonale in US…
Those are longitudinal engines and PHEV systems. Not for the transverse platform of Tonale/Hornet.
The options for transverse engines like Tonale/Hornet are like other models equiped with transverse motor.
The 2.0 270hp of the (small) Cherokee based on FWD transverse platform can be MHEV 48v...
With the expected « poor » powertrain offer, I don’t think Hornet will beat Challenger and Durango…
I think that it can still sell easily 50k/y in NA.
To be a very « bestseller » it needs a 300+hp petrol engine (the 2.0 FCA engine is capable of that) and a « SRT/Hellcat » 400+hp PHEV high end...
They need more powerfull 2.0 ICE and 2.0 PHEV.
The 1.3 PHEV in a Dodge Sporty CUV is unsaleable un NA… as for Alfa Tonale to…
Maybe they should greenlight the Tonale eQuadrifoglio with a 2.0 PHEV option in order to bring it also in the Hornet.
I think we will see very few ICE (hybrids MHEV or PHEV) models on futur STLA platforms. And only for Americas Stellantis Brasil and FCA US Brands and models.
Ok but in the big market for Tonale, a 2.0 ICE 4x4 is unsaleable… and in Stellantis they don’t have an ICE only motor with enough power (to be a true Alfa Q) to fit in their FWD B-C.seg platforms… so the better choice is by far a 2.0 PHEV with a bit less capacity than the 15.5kWh on the Tonale...
An « easy » Quadrifoglio version is possible with a 2.0 PHEV with possible combined power from 365hp to 490hp. But they need to beat the 420hp of the GLA AMG to be a true Quadrifoglio.
The 2.0 253hp option for NA is mentionned in the présentation.
In NA it will be available in PHEV eQ4 4wd 272hp and 2.0 Q4 4wd 253hp.
I estimate 0-60 in 5.6s for 2.0 and 5.9s for PHEV.
