I saw this coming once CT was fired, I hope he gets all of North America brands at some point. Maybe he will end up with Dodge and he can fold Ram back into it and get out of the horrible sales decline its suffering as a stand alone brand.
Good news
The only way this is ever really going to work is if they big it back to North America, there has to be a Lee Iacocca out there somewhere possibly even from a different manufacturer.
Wheres TK maybe he can take it over with the help of Walter Chryslers grandson.
I come from a big family...
It’s nice that this is still being offered on a few models. Sure would of been nice to see that engine in a sporty street Ram 1500 though.
These are probably left over engines form the last call Challenger, Chargers that were never built so they need to put them somewhere, just a guess.
Not sure what brake peddle collapse means in this situation, does it go to the floor like in a loose of pressure, or is it bending and going to the floor.
The only good thing about this is that the six of these my local dealer brought in are still on the lot, no need for a stop sale order...
Well they sure look good in that shade of blue with the stripes. Not sure what Ram Rev will do once the initial 1500 or so are sold though.
I wonder who will be the first to put a proper Hemi in one of these Chargers, probably be easier once the turbo six is out for this though. I noticed...
Oh Wow I think the truck looked better with the camo covers, especially that goofie grill in the Rebel talk about going from bad to worse.
Remind me again how this is better that the crosshair grills.
Sure better have a much improved drive train of at least 525 HP and 1200 plus torgue.
They...
Looks like they are updating some running gear which is great, more power and that 8 speed should help.
Mid cycle refresh on a 15 year old body is kind of concerning be 2040 at that rate to get a new one.
The small tree hanging from the mirror is Stellantis way of Sprucing up the fleet.
They can start by folding Ram back into the Dodge brand as 9 out of ten still call them a Dodge Ram.
I don’t see to much of a chance for Chrysler to survive and how can it after being starved of new products for so long.
Just having Dodge and Jeep moving forward will possibly make it more...
Nice to see Hennessy step up and put these few trucks together. Factory did miss a golden opportunity to make a cool sport truck especially with the 392 under the hood, it would of been sweet.
I would like to buy that front bumper for my truck.
I wonder what they did to increase the power to...
I cant help but get that same sinking feeling when Damliar created the joint venture of equals with these clowns.
I think it would be nice if Chrysler just went it alone or joined Honda and stop the coffer raiding to fun foreign crap cars.
It’s going to be a real eye opener on how Ram 1500...
So where exactly are they going to put this new straight six engine, don’t tell me it’s going to be in the frunk, that’s a crazy word and a crazy place for an engine.
It’s always amazing how someone can just render up a vehicle that looks so amazing it’s hard to believe Ram dropped the ball on making it.
I think this and a 4 door version with more street credentials would of been a better bet than the big Jeep Wagoneer.
And i think still think Ram should...
I really don’t mind the styling of this car, but i sure hope the production models have better fitting panels than this car, the hood is not lined up with the fender and neither is the gas/ charging port door. I wonder why the gas door is so big and wasn’t jumping at down a bit lower
I am a long time ram truck owner, just picked up a left over 1500 longhorn, had to have one more Hemi and no incentives on the 24s. The 25s were not much different in my opinion. Ram seems to struggle with innovation lately Dodge Ram was a lot more on the ball with lots of cool offerings.
So...
I think it will be a smaller car to try and bring in a younger demographic, and alow room to grow and build the brand back up. Sure hope its not all EV
Wow DOJ looking for a pay cheque i guess, 2 billion USC seems to me as thought the EPA wasn’t doing their jobs right if it took them 10 years to find this issue.
Ford with their 500/1200 hp torque must he next.
I think they just make this crap up and really don’t want anymore diesel pickups...
i agree with the comments here, when Ram was still under Dodge it was a lot more interesting and innovative what are they waiting for? Ford will have 4 trucks to pick from while ram has 2 and the heavy duties have been around since 09 with only a basic mid cycle refresh, a new hood and tow...
