It should, but there are much better options on the market, including some that don't even require drilling/wiring in the cab. Check out the Curt Echo controller. It's awesome. I love mine.
I'm hoping that toward the end of 2023 calendar year I will be able to afford to snag up a Challenger Scat Pack while I can still get one new. Fingers crossed....
So we're being forced to trade the whine of a supercharger and the growl and visceral feel of a V8 engine for a silent humm of electric motor? And we're not being given a choice?
Yeah, that sounds like freedom and liberty to me.
Guess I must just be lucky. We even have a rock quarry 2 miles or so from my house. Dump trucks on the roads all the time.
I do long highway trips around Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Commute to work in bumper to bumper traffic. Play around off road at times.
I've never had one...
4 Wranglers and 2 Gladiators and I've never had a cracked windshield. Ever.
But for $95 I would have ordered this option anyway! Can't hurt I guess.
I wonder what kind of acoustic change it'll make to the interior sound quality of the audio system and noise overall?
Gladiator is apples and oranges from Wrangler. What works for JL doesn't work for JT.
JT is already pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable GVWR for a mid size truck now, so adding several hundred pounds more weight is going to make it really hard for them to maintain any respectable...
I agree with you. A lot of the Ram 2500 trucks with the Cummins engine are in the 2,000 lbs. payload range. That's 1/2 ton truck territory these days. Not acceptable in my opinion. The 6.4L Hemi is also getting long in the tooth. 429 lb/ft of torque was good a decade ago. Today it's not...
The Ram HD needs a Hemi upgrade. Granted that's the "truck" version of the 6.4, but it's coming up on a decade old now and it's falling WAYYY behind what GM and especially Ford are doing. The media towing reviews with the 6.4L in the Ram are, well, let's just say "not good" to be kind.
I still think it's truly sad when what consumers truly want and what automakers are going to build are two different things. That should never happen, but insert government influence and.....
I hear people say that but I don't see how. The Bronco is a carbon-copy of the Wrangler, with Ford tweaks just to avoid being sued. Everything down to the way the hard top panels latch is the same. They didn't even go the extra step to use a straight axle in the front. The interior looks...
We are now in the third model year of the new DT body Ram, which from my experience is a huge upgrade over the old DS body. Yet, the 2500/3500 trucks are still using the old and outdated platform, with "lipstick on the pig" to make them resemble the new trucks somewhat.
Anybody know when Ram...
All of this is 100% true, and has been continually discussed by engineers being interviewed by auto media outlets over the years.
Yet, Ford offers the Tremor package on Super Duty, with 35s, a winch option, rear locker, front LS differential, lift, etc. etc......AND your choice of a gas engine...
I don't know, but I hope it's more reliable than KL has been. We bought one new in 2018 and it's been drinking oil as fast as gasoline ever since. And the steering column is making an awful popping noise when you steer now at 42,000 miles. And there's been a multitude of TSBs and recalls on...
Any rumors floating around about changes to the Gladiator? We're 90 days or less away from seeing the order guide, if history repeats itself. I'm REALLY hoping for real truck mirrors instead of the Wrangler mirrors they slapped on it, maybe some interesting new paint colors, and I'd love to...
