I haven't seen that. What I've seen is that all V8 truck inventory was gone many months ago, and now that you can't get a new V8 Ram the prices on used ones are increasing.
Gas prices are decreasing (with an election coming up) and likely will decrease more afterward depending upon outcome...
Well that's not looking good for them either, as Ram sales for the first six months of 2024 were down nearly 20%. The only truck doing marginally worse is the Nissan Titan.
This is like solving a Rubik's Cube that has only one color, and Stellantis just doesn't know how to figure it out...
And now that inventory is drying up for Dodge/Chevy it looks like Ford is starting to really cash in. Q2 2024 Mustang sales were up almost 28%.
Stellantis couldn't successfully operate a lemonade stand on a street corner, much less an auto company.
Here in KY most departments have already switched. GM's Tahoe and Ford's Explorer are the two main choices that I see daily. That's pretty much the only things they order and it's been that way for almost two years now. I think they figured out that the SUVs are just as fast as a Charger...
Saw an article today about how the 3.0 engines are having overheating issues. And apparently the water pump is a full day job to change. Some kind of plastic components inside the pump failing. See, this was my fear all along. You've got an engine that doesn't have 8 cylinders, doesn't have...
I'm thinking now $39,995 ain't happening. But hopefully it'll still come in under $50k for the base Six Pack.
When will the EV version hit the build and price tool online? Soon??
In 2005 Ford was still using the Interceptor name on their police fleet cars. Would have been interesting to see how that lawsuit would have panned out....
Anybody care to take a crack at what you think the base price will be when the Six Pack model comes out next year? Like the absolute least expensive version of this new Charger? I'm thinking $49,980.
Everything except sales.
Or maybe they're not expecting to sell as much quantity anymore, an rely on profit per unit instead, which would explain the INSANE base pricing. You can buy a very nicely decked out Mustang GT Premium with 480 horses, 10 speeds, and all the toys for $55k and run 11s...
Interesting.
- Panel fitment is a complete disaster on the Dodge and Jeep vehicles in those pictures.
- The After Dark color is beautiful.
- $70k for a Charger base model with one or two options? Are they kidding?
- Paint match between body and bumper cover is terrible on that white car.
-...
That's the ONLY way I'd bring one of these home. Being a new model combined with perfect timing of rates coming down next year if we get an administration change should equal much better leasing rates in general and good deals on this new Charger to try and get out of the gate hot with the new...
It has to be intentional. They let brands that were skyrocketing in growth 3 years ago completely wither and die by leaving them outdated PLUS making it publicly known that their new direction is one that takes them as far away from what the U.S. consumer wants as possible. And now they're...
Well I was pleased with the mid-cycle refresh. New face, new infotainment, standard adaptive cruise, some tweaks to the interior, etc. It was good.
Having said that, a lot of folks didn't feel they went far enough. Maybe they're just spending their resourced on the next gen Wrangler? I hear...
Chrysler 1990s sucked?
They released the Viper, which is iconic.
They released the “new” Ram pickups, which I personally believe literally saved the company.
They released the Grand Cherokee, which became the perennial #1 SUV in the market.
Technically started in 1989, the 1990s saw the...
I think the Wrangler IS a better overall choice, and I'm not biased because I keep both brands in my driveway. But it just is. It's been around far longer, it's more polished, and it still has better door and top removal procedures. It has better interior, better exterior, and more engine...
Thanks for the reminder that Cooper sold their souls to Goodyear. I was wondering why the tread pattern on this tire looks so much like the Goodyear Wrangler tires that Ford has used on Super Duty since 2017. All makes sense now.
"Great" and "European" do not go together in the same sentence. And BMW is the worst of the worst. I haven't had a BMW or MINI vehicle in my lifetime that was worth pissing on if it were on fire, and the wife against my advice bought a 2024 last year and surprise surprise, it's already got a...
