Its just a political perfect storm for EV's right now - but between now and all these pie in the sky ban dates you'll see government change and either cancel any EV mandates or kick them so far down the road they wont even matter. BMW just announced that they are no longer going to listen to...
First half 2020 was covid lock down. I've heard both Chrysler and Ford now say they'll be sticking with "the pull model" of selling over the push model as its so much more profitable.
Yeah, right.
"Sure Mr Customer, we'll get that Ram ordered right up for you, see you in 6 months!"...
I wouldn't put much stock into any recent profits as they sold literally everything for full pop due to limited production, and as much as they'd like that to continue it will not.
There is video of Ralph Gilles with that car saying its being built and that Tim told them to make the production version look exactly like the concept (except it'll have a normal rear seat etc). He was also asked about 2 door versus 4 door and said they made it a 2 door because they were sick...
The camaro looking challenger designs were drawn up before the gen 6 camaro itself slid into a distant 3rd place sales wise. Dodge would have to be very silly to design the challenger like that and expect any different.
Huh? They are banning gas cars by 2035 and the auto makers are already setting up to only produce EV's. We get that you are an investor, but call a spade a spade.
Considering the current Ram came out in CY 2018, this one is very likely just the next generation truck. Could very well just be gas, hybrid and full EV.
I don't think its that simple this time around unless sales drop so low that they have no other choice. I think they need dodge volume for STLA LG (among other things) to make any financial sense. Its like that small Cadillac, no clue what its called now, use to be ATS, it uses camaro parts...
Banshee is ahead of its time and they only showed it this early because it "was going to take some soak time". Make no mistake, it'll make perfect sense in 2-3 years among the other 8 second EV's. Unfortunately thats just one area where an EV makes sense, a weekend warrior performance car or a...
I6 is already marked to be the next Drag Pak engine so I dont know where this imaginary V8 stuff is coming from, they've said countless times its the final year for them.
Did you hear dodge is bringing back a BOF (body on frame, for the kids) 4x4 to be shown in 2023? I am sure you heard Durango is dead....
RamCharger
STLA Frame, will be a dodge, not a ram, built in one of the BEV plants to replace decade old durango - will use Jeep tech to head off Ford...
Yeah, VW made an entire new Scout brand for a segment thats "on the way out" and we all know wrangler and 4runner sales have been in the toilet for the last while. I should have known better than to post this here in the echo chamber. My apologies, I wont do it again. All the best with your...
They're leaving a lot on the table by not offering this. It seems every other person in town has a Bronco which proves not everyone wants a wrangler or they had one and dont care to get another for whatever reason. These real BOF 4x4's are a top traded for vehicle from the muscle cars which...
Fratzog is right where it always was

Charger Daytona Banshee SRT actually
:ROFLMAO:
Sorry but that just screams to me that they dont know what to call it and Ralph also said Tim wants the production car to look as close to the concept as possible so I wouldn't count on it morphing into a sedan as many predict.
