I would argue that CMP products are worst in class on some categories... Actually most of them. Nothing special.
But they are very cheap to make.
I'm gutted.
What they've made and something which was pushed by ex FCA side was new front structure so that Jeep could have shorter front overhang.
Other change is higher H point which provided slightly more rear leg room. I think it's called H30 points. I'm messing two different H points.
And last is...
Similar solution although PHEV was planned for Alfa.. mhm, Maserati MC20 but they killed it and went wth ICE and BEV options which have resulted in overweight ICE variant due to strengthen monocoque which was necessary for BEV version. Both versions have identical chassis.
But even with such...
It's not. Naming it uConnect doesn't make it one.
Obviously it's the latest it's the latest PSA sourced infotaiment. It looks identical as the one on the latest Opel models.
They even put GSE name on the failure prone 1.2 liter PureDreck engine. :facepalm
54 kWh on all models on different...
CAFE or fleet CO2 emissions are not brand related. They're automotive group related. In this case Stellantis. Maserati is separate from this.
I have some additional drawbacks about this car.
For example very problematic and failure prone PSA engine.
The other is infotainment.
Arguably this...
COTY has been political game for many years. Important Italian magazines abandoned it years ago. Wonder why.
BTW... I'm not sure who made engine list for this car but I have feeling that ex FCA brands are screwed over and over again.
For example DS 3 FL has been unveiled with 130 HP diesel and...
Interesting opinion. Dunno what to say, it's strange. I mean... Many people , at least here in Europe, are driving their PHEVs just as regular ICE or maybe HEV at 99% time.
I think that we've (too quickly) moved away from a P2 MHEV tech. It's still immature and already seen as obsolete by the...
This platform was designed from a get go as a suitable for US market. On the other way round certain other platform is non US compliant. Platform on which most of all new European Fiats will be based on including the upcoming 600.
@Deckard Cain
I'm not sure about 300 NM but seeing the name of this transmission as 8F30 I would say so. In FCA's nomenclature number 8 stands for number of gears while 30 is for torque which would mean 300 Nm.
Tonale didn't get the love in an amount which was planned under late Sergio.
It would always be Small Wide based product but heavily revised and of course with more powerful ICE engines.
We got sort of a half baked car.
For me there are some political calls here. Keeping French engineering centers busy. Something which is seen as good by France. At the same time a lot of job cuts in Italy.
Pushing with slightly newer design like 1.2 EB and this very old 1.6 EP is to keep France happy. Also they are compatible...
