Get in line behind Amazon. I know they are buying these (prearranged with Ram). I remember reading that they were buying them for their fleet. I remember it was a large number at the time but don’t remember the exact number.
I saw this at my local dealer. I know at the design time of this it was to be an EV, thus we have the “S”. As the owner of a 2017 Cherokee, this would be a perfect size and look for the new Cherokee. We are due for something new, but not an EV. This as a new ICE version of the Cherokee would...
I have 3 Jeeps in my family, a ‘17 Cherokee, ‘19 Compass and ‘19 Grand Cherokee. So does something activate these pop ups? Is it a specific years, if a dealer service takes place or does it just pop up?
I agree!!!! The last line was the best!!! Even his dog’s expression at it made me smile. Tip of the hat to Jeep on this one. Top notch all around, from the look alike Dutton ranch, to the Jeep passing the Bronco and Ford loving his Jeep! 😆. Very well done!!!
Not only was this a great commercial, how about Jeeps? Harrison Ford's last line, "This Jeep makes me happy, even though my name is Ford", as perfect!!! Even his dog's expression to that line was great!!!!
Is it me or is John Elkann kicking asss to get things on track? I can’t believe how fast these changes have been coming since he started running the show after Carlos left. The announcements on the positive changes are coming almost every other day.
If this continues and we get a decent CEO...
I totally get you point on Fords update in 2020. One fact we are forgetting here. WE as Mopar enthusiast know this stuff, ie: platforms, engine HP, time in use, all that good stuff. Most buyers DON'T!! They want a SUV, they test drive, look at their bank account, check with their insurance...
I don’t agree with you on the 2020 chassis redesign. From what I remember that was posted here back then one article stated Jeep did NOT want to share the platform with Dodge because they did not want a Dodge twin stealing their sales. A 3 row Jeep would loose sales to a new 3 row Durango at a...
I agree. Dodge never filled the Nitro spot back then or the spot the Journey had a few years back. The Journey could have been perfect but so neglected by Dodge. All it would have taken was a better engine and a bit more refinement. It was a good size for that gap.
Funny you laugh at that. The current Ford Explorer has been in production since 2011 when Ford switched it to the unibody D4 platform. Ford did a modified update in 2020 and extended the length to the CD6 platform so they could add a 3rd row (to compete with the Durango?) So with that being...
As the owner of a ‘21 GT, which I love, I think this platform could get a few more years. A slight refresh to the tail lights and maybe another front end update with an updated interior we could milk this till 2030.
Why not? She is highly rated in crash testing, mechanical she has improved...
Now that the cancer is gone (Carlos), I hope the new medication works and gets here fast. Sounds like everyone below Carlos knew the issues but were to afraid to do or say anything. I hope now he is gone, they stand true to this and turn things around!!!
Go Mopar!!
I agree 100%. We have been hearing the talk for how long now? I hope she stands by her words and by next year 2026, we get a look at what is REALLY coming, and they follow through.
One last thing, all the negative on the Airflow and C6X. Why? Both are very nice. Cookie cutter is what they...
Really stupid question here. How would ANYONE know seeing one of these on the road, know that it is a Stelvio test mule and not a real Jeep? How does Walter know what these are? Article really doesn’t say if he helped build it or works there etc.
On the other hand, seeing vehicles in camo or...
I really would love to see Tim become the CEO but on the backend I think there’s one issue at hand that I think Tim really wants to stay away from. That is Chrysler. I think right now it’s a 50-50 shot that Chrysler will either survive or be axed within the next few years. Chrysler will either...
As an owner of a 2023 Durango and not happy with the potential down size in 2 years, wondering if the “new compact” Ram may share its platform and look with the new Durango? Remember the 2000 Durango gen1 and 2000 Dakota gen2? They were twins and if memory serves me right they were on the same...
Nice looking van. Could use it for the new ProMaster City. That is a nice nitch we lost part of in 2023. I get that they will keep it an EV, but an ICE version is a must. The 143 mile version will never cut it in the delivery field (Amazon/FedEx), not even sure it the 205 would either. Most...
This reimagining of the new Charger looks pretty good. I like the added retro look.
On a negative note, this does not look good as a wide body. From the C-pillar back it looks very odd. The shot of the rear looks so awkward around the wheel wells and tires. I am sure it’s just me, but I...
