This is terrible news. Ethanol is horrible as a fuel. All but one of my fleet are 25+ years old and thankfully I can purchase ethanol-free. it's the most expensive fuel ... ugh

Realize that e-torque's main purpose is to get the truck rolling from a dead stop and spool the engine for a restart (during stop-start). You won't see any benefit above 1200 RPMs I'm guessing. My DS gets 22mpg on the highway currently. I imagine with e-torque I wouldn't get any different on...

Because they can. People will pay. It's an F150! I rode in one the other day. The ride was harsh, the seats were fairly comfortable, the interior was blah. I really wanted to get back into my ZJ. It's way older and I still prefer its interior to the nearly new F150.
