Adding AWD will be a welcome boost to the Pacifica. I can see it being positioned/marketed as a bridge between the classic minivan and a crossover. It could also be the placeholder for a Chrysler crossover, since that vehicle is unlikely to hit anytime soon.
So what's the likely direction for the Corvette; move to mid-engine or have two models, one traditional front engine and a higher model mid engine? Originally I was of the mind this vehicle was going to end up as a Cadillac, oh well.
What happened because Larry used to be the go to media guy back when I first got on Allpar? Now his articles are pretty anti-Chrysler with the Demon hate op-ed and questionable Dodge and Ram spinning.
Easily the Tonale as a near production concept from a exciting, revitalized brand. I'd agree that the Renegade PHEV is the most important reveal for FCA at the show.
I don't know the Euro-side of FCA well enough, but I wouldn't the PSA brands worth having be too much of a rival to the Fiat brand? It strikes me as the same flavor of a GM - Chrysler partnership in NA; too closely related resulting in brands being shuttered.
Plus after the Fiat NA...
A strategic partnership on a specific vehicle or region would be good, anything else is just taking their eye off their current plan which is finally producing results. FCA should stay the course and only look for specific partnership opportunities. I can see FCA emerging from the next...
The "Charge Tach" is a neat addition to the instrument panel. To me, these two vehicles really feel like a jump up to next generation powertrain technology. Very excited to see FCA flexing their innovation muscle.
If a company doesn't pay competitively for the job, whether it's a laborer or CEO, you won't attract a person with competitive skills. Personally, I'd like to see more CEO's being compensated based more on performance and bonuses that get paid to their workers, so if the workers don't get a...
I'm not at all a fan of 2WD Jeeps, but understand the economic opportunity they provide to certain geographic areas. Way back in time, a friend of mine bought a 2WD GC when he was stationed in Hawaii. He took a big loss on it when he came home to Maine because the value was next to nothing for...
My OCD is going off with the Challenger having a blacked out lip spoiler and color hood while the Charger has just the opposite. I'd black out the Charger spoiler and on the Challenger, black out the hood and give it a mild body stripe in black as well.
I don't know, I think FCA has the tiger by the tail with their great lineup of V8's, but nothing lasts forever. I'm still skeptical of the potential market for the TR/TRX too. Perhaps the TR was more of a hedge depending on the new lineup of engine performance and/or the success of the TRX, so...
As was stated elsewhere, I'm more concerned about how this will impact the Dodge cars. The turbo I-6 sounds like it will have the gumption to deliver enough power and if someone wants more, step up to insanity with the Hellcat. Perhaps the I-6 is developing so well, that the "need" for the...
