The new grill design is begging for a crosshair. I don't know why Ram abandoned it 5 years ago. The new design is even more generic than the previous DT grills.

I need my sunglasses to look at this truck. Way too much chrome. The grill is very generic and has no distinctive qualities. They found a way to ruin the good looks of the Classic body style.

Still for all the hype of W and GW, they are on a pace for only 40k units a year. All of that $$$ spent bringing them to market should have been spent on the Charger and Challenger revamp. The Durango is holding because not everybody wants a Jeep, and the GC - L's have had so many problems...

I looked at the picture of the chrome version of the grill on build and price. As much as I like the black version, the chrome looks too overdone when combined with the chrome brow. Hopefully whenever the refresh comes, the brow goes to bad design heaven.

I don't get why only 4 colors. Is there a color shortage now? Since they are running down the new GC line, is that all it offers too? Soon it will be back to like it apparently was when Ford started, black only.

According to the article, this grill is only available with the Pentastar. This makes no sense. I think this is the best looking grill on any of the DT's. Too bad the grills on these things are so hard to swap out, unlike the Classic. There would be a run on these for after market replacements...

Ram looks like it is going the Toyota route with this front end. What is with these truck brands and their ugly fronts. I sure hope this isn't the direction for DT refresh next year. I may have to keep my '16 Ram for a long time.

Since the Durango shares the same line as the Grand Cherokee, is it possible the GC will be launching with only the same 4 color also. Then once it is up and running, the GC and D get more color choices.
