Maybe you should cut the snarky comment!!!
Ram sales are down, prices are way higher than the competition. I priced out a Laramie Night Edition and a Ford Lariat Black package,. The Ford has a V8 and is similar in equipment to the Ram. The Ram is 4K higher than the Ford with a V8. Ram forces...
Margins don't matter if trucks aren't selling.
The 2 of you have 1 track minds, it's all about the margins. Different companies have products they sell at lower prices and less margin to bring in customers. All Stellantis is doing is driving people away.
WTP is going down to 1 shift because the...
Another dumb move by Stellantis.
That engine will be working hard to move this big, heavy SUV. Going to a smaller engine is false economy as it will have to work harder under a heavy load, or climbing a long interstate hill at 70. Fuel economy will be no better than the 3.6 , it may even be...
Got to keep squeezing those suppliers for every last penny. The result is junk parts that will cost in the end to replace under warranty and the loss of customer trust because of stupid things like this.
This is making me seriously consider either GM or Ford for my next truck.
Thanks Sergio for putting FCA on the path to this with very little product investment, all in the name of margins for a merger.
Compass is not a CRV, Equinox competitor. It is way too small compared to those vehicles and others in that class. The company has nothing in that class right now and hasn't for a while.
The millions wasted on the Wagoneer would have been been better spent on a Journey replacement, an updated fuel efficienct 4, and an upgrade to the Hemi to make it meet emissions regs.
Now they have nothing in the CRV, Equinox segment, no V8 when GM and Ford still have them, and only now some...
According to a few guys on the 5th gen Ram forum who ordered Tungstens early this year, Ram has yet to produce one. Limiteds only started up recently. Way to keep your customers. A few are ready to jump to GM and Ford if nothing happens soon.
The dealer In VA that I referenced that has 144 Chargers in stock was part of the discussion of 1st quarter sales on April 4th. Then they had 162 Chargers.
So in 7 weeks they sold 18 Chargers. Then they were discounted 6000, now they are at 10K. They aren't exactly flying off the lots, basically...
The is a big CJDR dealer on Tyson Corrner, VA that advertises discount pricing on the 5th Gen Ram forum. They current have 144 Chargers and Challengers in stock. The number hasn't changed much in the last 2 months.
These cars are advertised as 9 to 10K off sticker and they still can't move...
I am so sick of hearing about margin. Right now they are getting zero margin on small and mid sized vehicles because they have nothing to sell. The Hornet is an obvious overpriced failure. They are driving customers to other brands and many may never return.
Got to keep those margins up. I guess the high prices aren't enough. When vehicles start piling up on the lots because of the high prices and reduced equipment, maybe it will sink in. Soon it will be like Ram across the entire lineup, 10 to 15% off sticker. Then where are the margins. Guess...
There are only about 40 to 50,000 Hurricanes out running on the roads in the Wagoneers and GW. It has been less than 2 years in actual use. Proclaiming it is superior at this point is fantasy.
Maybe the poster is not ready to buy yet but will be in 6 months.
You belittle everyone who complains about what Stellantis is trying to shove on us , even though what is coming is not what we want. I don't want a 4cyl in a 4500lb vehicle. If FCA would have given us something other than paint...
I don't call a power train that has multiple recalls and many other issues that owners are complaining about, an upgrade. I;ll take the 3.6t any day over it. My current Charger has it as did the previous one. Between this engine and my Hemi Ram I am well covered for a while to avoid these...
