At this year’s Roadkill Nights event in Pontiac, Michigan, Dodge dropped a bombshell for muscle SUV enthusiasts. The automaker announced that every 2026 Dodge Durango ordered after August 13th would now come standard with a HEMI® V8 engine for U.S. retail customers. While the familiar Pentastar V6 remains in production, it’s now reserved exclusively for government and fleet buyers. For everyday consumers, it’s all HEMI, all the time.

Dodge has officially uncaged its most extreme SUV, and this time there are no geographic limits. For the 2026 model year, the 710-horsepower Dodge Durango SRT HELLCAT is now available to order in all 50 states, including emissions-strict markets like California and the Northeast. That makes the supercharged, HEMI®-powered Durango the fastest American gas-powered SUV you can buy anywhere in the country.

Do I see the SRT DOES NOT have standard fog lights? I also read the 2026 had different headlights than the 2025. They look the same as my 2021 GT Plus headlights. Also, it has been mentioned the grill for 2026 was updated. Has "Fake news" been released on the exterior changes or is this footage Bob used of the 2025 version.
