The rollout of Dodge’s all-new internal-combustion Charger has officially moved from the factory floor to the showroom. Just days after the first 2026 Dodge Charger SIXPACK Scat Pack rolled off the line at the Windsor Assembly Plant on December 3rd, the very first dealer-delivered example has now landed on showroom soil. That milestone car arrived yesterday at Provincial Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, and FIAT in Windsor, Ontario—marking the beginning of a new chapter for Dodge muscle.

There is no doubts about it, Dodge need sales. Chrysler keeps promising a line- up. No faith in that woman. Actually I have no faith that people will buy this behemoth either. Those big cars need to go. Need a slightly smaller, say CUDA than the 23 Challenger/ Charger. It's not about the fake power. It's the growling Hemi's we want.
 
It's interesting that Stellantis is talking about adding a third shift at Windsor without a high-volume Charger model being announced. The SIXPACK cars replace the 5.7 and 6.4 Hemi cars in the line-up and start at $55K-- how many can they possibly sell at that price? Where are the replacements for the $35K Pentastar V6 models?

Maybe they have something waiting in the wings to start production once retooling is done but haven't announced yet, like an I4 turbo or hybrid Charger and/or the Chrysler "C6X" crossover? Maybe even the promised Chrysler sedan?

My time line for Chrysler is January 2026. Bob replied to one of my comments a while back that the official announcement for the new Chrysler products will be at an auto event (forgot where) in January. If Chryslers future plans are not addressed then, since Chrissy said product is coming in 2026/27, then I will know that was just a smoke screen to keep Mopar fans occupied until this new Charger got rolling.

Have you driven it? Lineage of the Giorgio which is universally celebrated and loved, new more powerful and smoother powerplant.

Dump a grand of weight..... Robin loved it..... and I won't be surprised by it when I get a chance either. I doubt it as nibble as the Giulia... but with the new hardware and compared to the dinosaur it replaced.... it has the making of being revelation.

Yes people forget V6 sold 3 to 1 to the V8 cars.... Enthusiasts are gripping about the wrong powertrain for the vehicle to be successful. You need a volume and affordable model to drive and support the Halo and performance models. 335hp is more than enough for 90% of the buyers.

The can get the Hurricane model out fast enough. I not saying there shouldn't have been the Daytona.... I get it betting on Trump and the ability to turn EPA around in a year would have been quite a stretch for a planning perspective. But gas models should have always been first.... ALWAYS and like 18 months ago.
 
As written elsewhere on this site by myself it is stunning the damage Tavares did and that includes the psychological damage to me and my fellow Mopar loyalists. Carlos was just a villain. The fallout has eroded confidence and trust.
The result is this depressive and negativity psychosis that is effecting even the most optimistic in our fold. Calling, justifiably, the new Charger is a behemoth is an example of our shared affliction since its guys on the mature end of life and families with kids who are performance buffs who will be gravitating in numbers to a larger, roomy, practical performance vehicle in two door and four door versions. The AWD Six Pack, for just one objective and broader.thinking moment friends, is a fabulous product. Two weeks driving an AWD turbo BMW was an eye opener as BMW asked me to rate it against my Challenger R/T. Really guys, they did.
Challenger- better muscle feel and sound, more exciting and less refined driving feel, muscle car styling with nostalgia for baby boomers, more room, better tech and dash displays and my choice between the two cars.
BMW- Snob appeal, heads up display I just loved, better wet weather handling, better gas mileage and better steering response. Second fiddle for me as a loyal Mopar guy who would never switch. Not truly objective but honest as I could.
The Six Pack combines most of the Challenger pluses, leap frogs the BMW’s assets and the big point here, it will perform and strongly appeal to the Pentastar V-6 Challenger/Charger buyers looking for something new from Dodge. It will.
If one can shake off our depressive psychosis syndrome, this so called behemoth is just perfect and then some for a whole lot of buyers. I’m one on that list with a word of thanks to BMW. Again, I’ll take the DODGE.
As to the future, a hurricane four and six RWD entry level GT and our beloved Hemi lineup will restore much to Dodge. Add in the prospects of a slightly smaller, restyled Charger spin off two door Challenger, the SRT Cuda and Duster and the mid-size performance line now in development and my psychosis turns to euphoria. Yea, I know, classic symptoms of bipolar issues, but let’s face it, Tavares did us all some damage. Being positive and united behind Dodge can be a better remedy than an armchair psychotherapist like me.

Right on again Triple. Don’t forget, the Charger and next generation Jeep Grand Cherokee will both share the same platform and I’m sure that Jeep will include the new Hurricane four and probably the Six, dropping the Pentastar V-6. Simultaneously Jeep and Dodge expanding to the Charger an easy done thing for both. Yes?
 
I think most of us are on the same page about this, give or take some differences in viewpoints. I will say that It would be nice to see an affordable AWD GT model with the Hurricane-4 engine that starts off in the low to mid $30K range. Same 8-speed trans as the 6-pack along with some options from the higher end cars just like the previous Charger GT had. While I will keep it short and simple the GT also needs support from Direct Connection with upgrades that hearken back to the days of the SRT4 performance stuff Dodge used to do, maybe even compete with the Mustang Ecoboost with both factory backed and aftermarket performance upgrades. Just my thoughts.

I see ads constantly in my area for some of the 2024 model Carlos EV units discounted $25000 or more off msrp, and still no one bites. Maybe give one away with each new Charger ICE purchase? Just a thought .
