10 Mopar Things We’re Thankful For This Thanksgiving

A Year Of Momentum And Muscle For The Mopar Community

Thanksgiving - 1.jpeg

From new leadership to V8 noise and racing returns, 2025 has been a major turning point for Mopar brands across North America. And as Thanksgiving rolls in, it’s the perfect time to look back at the wins, the comebacks, and the announcements that put a little extra horsepower into our holiday season. Here are 10 Mopar things we’re thankful for this year…

I'm thankful for the new four cylinder engines. Micky Bly recognizes the 1.6 liter had to be improved for American driving conditions and claims changes were made and it will also be built in Dundee, MI. The second four cylinder is the new Hurricane 4 using Formula 1 technology. It was a great surprise when that engine was revealed.

We haven't seen the Punch Transmission used in any stateside vehicles so far and the STLA-Medium platform here in America will not be the same as the one in Europe. How do I know this? The Euro platform doesn't allow for mechanical AWD and the Belvidere built Compass will have it.

The rise of regionalization over globalization.☺️

If I had to think of 5 Mopar things I am thankful for this holiday season
1. I'm thankful for the promise of hope that this brand will go on and still be the amazing brand that it has been for years to come, offering choices and the freedoms that it has offered for the past decades that it has been in existence.
2. I'm thankful for us and when I say us, I mean all of us. All of us who comment on these articles, the journalists who bring us these articles, the YouTube influencers, the teams at Stellantis that bring us the cars that we love (and sometimes don't love), the enthusiast CEO's like Tim Kuniskis, Matt McAlear, Ralph Gillies and all of us who are a part of this thing they call "The Brotherhood of Muscle"
3. I'm thankful for new beginnings, the Hurricane family of Engines, the Return of SRT, new STLA Platforms, etc.
4.. I'm thankful for leadership that at understands and wants to grow the North American market and isn't trying to destroy it in favor of the euro-Chinese market.
5. The Dodge Charger. From 1966 till forever.
