In a patriotic nod to its legendary military roots, Jeep® has partnered with Fox Factory™ to create a very special off-road machine — the limited-edition Wrangler Commando 392. Unveiled in time for Veterans Day, this custom-built vehicle blends Jeep’s 85-year military legacy with cutting-edge aftermarket engineering for an authentic, retro-modern salute to America’s servicemen and women.

 
Anyone else starting to notice a theme here? Whipple supercharger pkgs on other Hemi V8's outside of the Hellcat family? Magnaflow exhaust systems, Moparized six pack Charger with potentially some "skunkworks" performance parts under the hood beyond the CAI, a Dude pickup truck, a V8 powered Hustle Stuff Charger Drag car with a Whipple supercharger on a 5.8L V8, a 650hp Hemi pickup truck, etc. anyone else noticing this? What if, Dodge is putting together something right in front of our faces with their new vehicles, something as to where the Charger R/T may be offered with the 5.7L and a base engine with an optional Hurricane as a higher performance option, while the scat pack is offered with a base 392ci V8 with a Hurricane as a high performance option, but with something else up their sleeves behind it. We saw a few weeks ago that a Whipple supercharger puts the 5.7L up to about 650hp in the Ram 1500 while this new Whipple packaged 392 puts out 705hp, just shy of the seven hundred AND seven horsepower of the original Hellcat. With EVs dropping left and right from the market, there could be a unique possibility that Dodge could offer these Supercharged V8 packages as the R/T Super Bee and Scat Pack Daytona packages while the non supercharged packages would just be the R/T-345 and the Scat Pack 392, effectively separating them from the R/T Six Pack and Scat Pack Six Pack variants. Ram already has this strategy with the 1500-series trucks on alot of models so it's not like it's really a far-fetched idea.
This move also does something else and it has everything to do with the next SRT Charger. I think we're going to get three different SRT Charger trim levels, the first being a hybrid 3.0L H/O with the new ZF 8HP EVO plug in 8-speed transmission. I don't see electrification completely leaving the Charger, even though I think the days of the Daytona are numbered and people are very much okay with Hybrids. The next two I believe will be the introduction of the Hellephant motors to production cars. The first being the 900hp 6.2L C170 Hellephant engine that has the potential for 1,000+hp on E85. The second Hellephant would be the 7.0L A30, that already puts out 1,000hp on pump gas. A Top Banana 426ci Charger SRT Daytona really just makes sense.
