Yesterday, I made my way over to the Chrysler display set up at Woodward Avenue and 13 Mile, the day before the Woodward Dream Cruise—and I’ve got to say, it’s great seeing the Chrysler brand holding its own right in the middle of the action for its 100th Anniversary. While Dodge has their setup about 8.5 miles up Woodward, Chrysler carved out its own spotlight, and it worked perfectly.

It is amazing how a car or a car brand can influence one’s life. It takes a special person, a person attracted to the automobile culture or hobby, but like rooting for the Yankees, it has been an adventure that puts something special in your life.
Nothing like a Chrysler, it’s truly an industry defining brand and its preservation and growth in the future is important to many like me. Very important.
Like wearing pinstripes and walking in the footsteps of the greatest ever, Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Joe D’Maggio and so many more, owning a Chrysler, driving a Chrysler, is like driving in the tracks of greatness. The “Bambino” of cars.
Perhaps I exaggerated the whole Chrysler thing, but I was at Yankee Stadium and witnessed Mantle’s 500th home run, a never to forget moment in life. I’ll never forget that opportune ride in that 1957 Chrysler 300C with my dad that to this day sets my heart racing and puts a lump in my throat. My Chrysler moment.. for life.

Those of you who have the ear of the decision makers, tell them if their actually going to take another swing at keeping Chrysler alive (extremely doubtful), DITCH the meaningless , looks like someone erased half of it , logo, and bring back the blue ribbon badge.
