It’s official—Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge is heading back to downtown Pontiac, Michigan, on Saturday, August 9th, and this year marks a decade of tire-shredding celebration for the gearhead crowd. Hosted by MotorTrendand backed by Dodge, the event is returning to its roots, bringing street-legal drag racing back to historic Woodward Avenue, right in the heart of Pontiac’s business district.

Dodge is fueling the fire once again at Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge with the return of the fan-favorite Direct Connection Grudge Race, and for 2025, it’s bigger, louder, and rowdier than ever. Now in its fifth consecutive year, the Grudge Race is introducing an all-new “Outlaw” format, where anything goes—and we mean anything. The only requirement? Every build must be powered by Dodge’s Direct Connection HurriCrate engine and a TorqueFlite8-DC1 transmission.

This will be my first time attending Roadkill Nights and I am seriously looking forward to going!
