This is kind of funny in an unfunny way. Several states have filed MANY suits/blockages on many of the DOGE actions, and also against the Trump Administration for many of the decisions being made since he took office. Yet, not one, yes, not one US auto company who builds in Canada or Mexico and ships to the US, have filed a suit against Trump about the violation of the fair-trade agreement Trump put into effect during his last term with Canada or Mexico. It has been mentioned a lot, but nothing more. Why? Is there something more going on between the big 3 with Trump and these tariffs behind the scenes? Are the big 3 playing this out to make it look bad for them so theses other country cave into Trumps tariffs? Something seems off since he paused the tariffs for 90 days, but did not pause the tariffs on the Auto industry.
Also did anyone notice the 90 days is up just before July 4th, America's birthday. Will Trump claim a big victory with these foreign nations and ease the Auto tariff for a big announcement on July 4th?
Don't get me wrong, I do agree with these tariffs to get jobs and auto Manfacturing back to the US. I don't see this as long term, but something is off.
