Dodge Looks at the Charger Daytona to Expand Footprint in Europe...

According to our sources, Dodge is set to expand the reach of its all-new, all-electric Dodge Charger Daytona into the European market in 2026. The iconic muscle car, known for its aggressive performance and bold design, will be available in two-door and four-door configurations, adding a new chapter to the brand’s history in Europe. The Charger Daytona is produced at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada, and should hit European roads sometime in Q4 2025 / Q1 2026.

I wonder if there is a chance for right hand drive for the U.K, Australia etc.? The "Six Pack" ice would be a perfect fit for Australia, considering the history of the Australian six pack Charger from the 1970's.

Outside German and Turkey where does that monster fit. :D I can't imagine trying to navigate it through rolling hills and city centers of England and Italy.

I can't sit here and say that this car has my attention in both Six Pack and Daytona variations because in all honesty, to me, they are both awesome. Maybe not perfect, but still awesome. To me, what I don't understand is why not have both the S/O & H/O six pack cars in both 2 and 4 door configurations and why not have the 3-speed gearbox in the 400V Daytona cars? I know they're working on an upgraded battery system which hopefully will be around my the second or third model year of the new Daytona but the three-speed gearbox seems like a no-brainer for all EV trim levels.

Yeah.....ahhhh ...... yeah.....

not really work with the EV system. One of the Advantages of is less complex drivetrain. Look how these systems work and why that is not a no-brainer solutions. You would have to configure the system more like a conventional ICE powertrain. Not a horrible idea for say a Truck or Jeep but your talking a entirely new model.

You could add something in the motor housing, but then you would have make sure it syncs per module...and for sure it wouldn't be a manual in any conventional sense.

Other Manufactures have tried the geared feel and hasn't gone well.

I am taking bets that there will be a 4 door HO, just not at launch. Patience.

I've lived in England... plenty of room there. If S Class, 7 Series, Land Rovers etc can fit then so can the Daytona. I'd be glad to live there again if I could cruise the country in a Charger 😃

The six or so Daytona’s that might be bought in Europe will not affect the miserable sales numbers we all know are coming in America. Just a gut prediction. Wish it weren’t so.

Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack Spotted Testing in Italy

Not an Alfa Mule—Just Europe Getting a Taste of Dodge Muscle

There’s been some online chatter about Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack models popping up in test fleets around Italy, and naturally, the rumor mill kicked into overdrive. Some are speculating that the cars might be test mules for the upcoming next-gen Alfa Romeo Giulia, which is expected to launch around 2027. But let’s pump the brakes on that theory for a second.

This is the Banshee!!! undercover as a standard Scat Pack. The Banshee is said to be built with 3 electric drives, 2 rear and 1 front, and a completely different arrangement of batteries being this ones in the center tunnel, just a copy paste from Maserati Folgore, so they are testing this electric setup in a Daytona chassis. Very simple.

There really hasn't been enough information published about this new hybrid transmission to truly figure out how it works. I highly suspect the basic design came from an outside supplier. If it is Magna or ZF engineering, now we are are talking about a range extender system. It is probably to late for that to happen in the Charger Daytona. The Jeep Wagoneer S and Recon models look to be more suitable for a range extended EV option.

It remains a mystery why the IC engined Chargers won't use the ZF hybrid system. BMW uses the ZF hybrid transmission behind a straight six. Why can't Dodge?

If I had to guess on this Charger spotted in Italy, I’d guess that Dodge is getting help from the very talented Italian engineers in fixing the problems US engineers, those left anyway after the purge, have failed to solve. Few seriously think the very large Charger will see big sales in Europe, more of a curiosity than a daily driver, so that’s out. It may relate to the Daytona based Alfa Romeo’s and Maseratis looking to get this platform right. Really hope the Jeep Wagoneer S and Recon can be saved with a hybrid option, even better an ICE option too, but the word is out on the Stellantis inspired electrics and these Jeeps and perhaps a Chrysler or two had better rethink their plans real quick. If the Americans can’t get it straight, hopefully the highly regarded Italian engineers can get this mess fixed.
Oh yea, saw my first Wagoneer S, a black one, last night. Still no Chargers sighted by my Mopar keen eyes yet. Rare birds indeed, all for the wrong reasons.
With an Italian CEO in place and that countries historic engineering foresight, maybe Dodges fortunes now rests in Italy.
