The Wagoneer was developed smartly, on a modern but proven platform, at reasonable cost, delivering a top shelf product. Succeeding in the marketplace has been more of a challenge as unseating the well entrenched competition has faced some disappointing resistance from buyers. Surprised that Jeep has not penetrated the VIP livery business and government transportation pool fleet effectively. That VIP identity matters. I would hesitate to call the Wagoneer a disappointment, but I would hope it would find more avenues to gain customers attention that translates into better sales. These luxury segments are tough markets to crack and Jeep has to be creative and aggressive to find their niche.
