“Today is an important day,” declared Luca Napolitano, CEO of Lancia brand, “Lancia is now ready for Europe, taking the first step to become a credible and respected brand in the premium segment. Our ten-year plan, approved last September, is now taking shape, step by step. We are the Italian Elegance brand and this is our Renaissance. I am truly unconvinced by the move to 100% electric product. There are a great many regions in every coutry throughout Europe/UK/USA that have insufficient infrastructure development to support a large EV pool. It will curtail Stellantis sales in many areas not offering a hybrid alternative, at least for the forseeable future. Will Lancia prosper? Who knows.

Well, from what it was shown here their sales will be focused on countries that already have good charging infrastructure like Benelux (Walloon is a bit behind), Germany, France for example. And by 2024 or 2026 things will be even better.

It's good to see Lancia reborn. Funny that this happens under the tutelage of executive teams from Stellantis while under italian management the brand was dying.
