During this morning’s 2021 Financial Results presentation, Stellantis also shared some future product news ahead of its scheduled “Long Term Strategic Plan” for investors. That event is scheduled for Tuesday, March 1st. at 2 p.m. CET / 8 a.m. EST., but today, we got a look at a list of some of the scheduled launches for Stellantis’ electrified program.

According to the information released, there will be 17 new low-emission vehicles (LEVs) released by the automaker during 2022 and 2023. Those new LEVs will join the automaker’s already large global portfolio of 34 LEVs, which are currently available. So what are the 17 new electrified products? Let’s take a look…

To many mixed messages coming out of FCA-PCA! Through the grapevine, Charger and Challenger to be killed off as ICE versions will be no longer available?

as well as disclosing that there wouldnt be any ICE engines contrary to Ford saying that they will be still selling ICE engines? The PCA Chairman previously saying that the cost of changing over everything is completely overwhelming to the manufacturers? I just think too much too soon especially with the Russian thing on boarding as we speak!

I think you are all over the place.
Dodge brand isn’t going full BEV unlike Alfa.
We been pretty clear that next Charger and Challenger will have ICE options that will be pared with various Hybrid Technology.
Last thing John Elkann is the Chairman (both Executive Chairman and the Chairman of the Board Of Directors) of Stellantis as he was with pre-merger FCA and its direct predecessor FIAT Spa.

There has been a significant advance in mild hybrid technology as we have seen with the recent news articles here at Mopar Insiders. While these latest hybrid models are small front drive Fiats and Jeeps with the 1.5 liter GSE, they demonstrate the capabilities of a 48V system.

In addition to the high voltage PHEV sytem from ZF, there will most likely be a mild hybrid option as well, all based on the Gen-4 eight speed. I don't know what the GVW limits of the new 8-speed will be, some of the HD Ram trucks might use the older generation 8 speed or the HD 8 speed for commercial trucks which was recently introduced.

What all this means is the rear drive Dodges, Rams and Jeeps will have ICE power for under the hood for a little while longer. I would like to see more details on the 1.5 liter GSE Miller cycle engine, specifically how they pull off using a turbocharger with a Miller Cycle. Up until now, it hasn't been practical. A close examination will likely provide some clues of what the 3 liter inline six will have.
