Jeep® Expands Its Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Lineup For 2022 Model Year!

Traditional Or Electrified - How Do You Like Your Trailhawk?

The Jeep® brand introduced the “Trailhawk” name on the Grand Cherokee concept vehicle that first appeared at the 2012 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. The idea was to deliver a unique and more rugged appearance, with a host of functional features that resulted in an increased level of off-road 4×4 capability. In 2017, Jeep unveiled the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, a production version of the concept that put the best off-road capability in the hands of Grand Cherokee owners. Since then, the Jeep brand has embraced the Trailhawk name for most of its off-road-oriented Trail Rated models.

This might be an unpopular opinion but off-roading with air suspension just doesn't look right to me. It looks like the vehicle is out of its element. Still prefer the old GC with a solid axle.
