Those who downplay the Fiat-Chrysler partnership should pay attention to Jeep and Ram fortunes in Brazil. Fiat’s facilities in Brazil are world class and build Jeeps and Rams that potenially open the doors for other Mopar products in Latin America. In addition, their styling and engineering teams have and will make available innovations needed to be successful in this market all thanks to Fiat. True, there are mixed reviews on this partnership and things Fiat related in North America, but it seems things are improving and with the new PSA merger looming, things could really take off, not only globally, but for Dodge and Chrysler domestically and perhaps in Brazil too. To downplay this success is to take a cloistered view of the merger.
