I've got to say that I thought the front end design was terrible when I first saw it. I'm almost hesitant to write this, but certain configurations are starting to grow on me (e.g. the RST and High Country). But here's the thing...as a design professional, my initial reaction usually tells me...

...and the launch capability from an engine stop position. It may have made a difference in acceleration, but it wasn't noticeable enough for me to make any claims. I was also focused on the 'normal' driving experience, with a mix of highway and city streets and the effects of auto stop-start...

FYI, all - I drove the first eTorque-equipped truck to arrive in our region yesterday. You can read the review over on the 5th Gen Rams forum.

I can't wait to see a direct comparison of dyno graphs. Theoretically, eTorque simply fills in the torque curve in the 0-1500 RPM range, thus addressing a weak point in the Hemi's output.

THAT is a Blazer that would get my attention (i.e. a modern-day K5).

It's not so much about price for me, although I can appreciate that argument. It's the total package...an understated exterior, the comfortable but luxurious "jeans and boots" interior of the Longhorn, and the latest technology throughout (i.e. the infotainment system, of course, but also...

Interested to hear about your balancing. I’m guessing it’s a wheel...I’ve had three sets of KO2s, and they’re great on the highway.

I can't wait to have the chance to post a similar experience...about the 2019 Ram I have on order ;)
