Why is Jeep’s website so awful?

For as much as Jeep has progressed over the last few years, their website is just absolutely awful. They need to hire a creative marketing team and some photographers to take new photos of their vehicles instead of just editing existing photos. Take a look at this atrocity. They didn’t even try to accurately color within the lines - there’s blue spilling over onto the background at the rear end.

For as iconic as this brand is, their digital marketing leaves a lot to be desired. Anyway, rant over.

I hate all vehicle websites. They are all too difficult to navigate and are not arranged in any sensible order. I would much rather see a downloadable PDF designed like the vehicle books you used to find in dealerships. With the old Jeep books it was much easier to see what options were available on what model.

I’m no UX designer, but this is a good design study on how to design a car site. Modern, crisp, and straight to the point.

Right, just feels like with the increased focus on premium vehicles with the Wagoneer/GW and new Grand Cherokee, they should have a quality website to match.

Oh, I absolutely agree, it should be even more of a priority now
