Very simple: which specific car sparked your interest in Mopar. I most of us have had one car that made us go "wow!" that sparked a long-lasting interest in the Mopar family? So which car was it?

Mine was the base 2007 Charger that my parents had in Silver Steel Metallic. I don't know why, but I loved that car. I wasn't old enough to drive yet, but when we cruised in that car I just loved it. Since then, I have tried to replicate that feeling of enjoyment but no other car that I've owned has come close so I'm still searching.

This wasn't our specific Charger, but it looked almost identical to this - hub caps and all...but not the window deflector things. It was nothing special and the transmission eventually went out in it, but that is the car that made me love Dodge cars which eventually turned into a passion for all things Mopar.

While I always loved the classic Mopar muscle cars, I've owned a few vehicles that I really liked from Chrysler. First was my 2001 GC Limited, I really liked the WJ Grand Cherokees when they came out and finally ended up buying a 2001. Another that I had that I really liked was my 2003 300M Special. Both were great vehicles and were at a point where I really felt like Chrysler Corp. was making a huge comeback and easily had the best interiors out of the domestic automakers. When the Diamler merger came along I lost all interest, I felt that all the vehicles launched under Diamlers control were a huge step back from the previous models, I went back to my Ford roots.

When I really came back was with everything that has been happening as FCA, huge strides in interiors, design, enthusiast cars etc. When friends were looking for full size trucks I "the Ford guy" kept recommending Ram, when it came time for me to buy a new truck I ended up taking my own advice and went Ram. I've loved my truck since I got it and think that I bought the best thing on the market at the time, that and everything thats been going on with SRT, the new vehicles launched the past few years and whats coming in the future has turned me into a total Mopar guy.

Of course I have been drooling over Vipers since I've been a kid but thats a given.

Believe it or not my dad's 2000 Dodge Durango. That's the very first "car" I took a second look at and thought "there's something interesting about this vehicle."

Then I discovered the Viper existed and I never looked back, lol.

As a kid there wasn't exactly one specific moment I fell in love with mopar. However, I loved riding in the second gen Durango my mom had. A ton of room and a ton of space. My mom rolled it over and she did not suffer a scratch. I did not like riding in her replacement... a 2005 mercedes c240. That thing was a disaster between its design and as a taller kid, I could not fit in the backseat. My father really kicked off my interest in mopar when he bought home a 2009 RAM sport in white w/ the chrome grille. So fast at the time, so spacious. Loved getting dropped off at school in that truck. What really did it for me was when he got 2 white big horns (both 2016). Ever since then, I've been a mopar fanatic.

2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, before that I knew FCA and before them DCX owned Jeep but that Gen III Hemi is damn impressive.
And since then I have added a Gen III 6.1 Hemi to my 1977 CJ7 (keeping it all in the family)

Believe it or not, it was the 84 Dodge Caravan! Not a performance vehicle by any stretch of the imagination, but it was groundbreaking and indicative of our current love affair with “utility” vehicles.

I must also give kudos to Mark Worman from Grave Yard Cars, he does lots of knowledgeable informational items on his show to get people interested. I have learned many things to interest me about Mopar stuff.
