Dodge advertises itself as the Performance brand with commercials showing their vehicles racing around streets and doing donuts. Those of us that appreciate the Dodge vehicles support their efforts. However, there are irresponsible owners that give the brand a bad name. This incident in Las Vegas is just the most recent of many I have seen in the news over the last few years.

I am not sure what the answer is, but I would guess insurance rates on Dodge performance cars is going up.

Remember insurance rates are all based on statistical data, not headlines. When I bought my youngest son his Challenger, I was amazed to find the rates on a Challenger are cheaper than rates on a Charger. Go figure.

If bad driving gave a brand a bad name Ford and KIA would have Zero Customers.
That may be true. However, when I see a deadly accident like above I rarely see the brand and model of the car specified. Unfortunately, I have noticed when a Dodge Challenger or Charger are involved in these type of accidents, they are specifically called out.
