Sublime Dodge Charger & Challenger Make Their Debut In Chicago:
Heritage High-Impact Color Is Back...


Mopar Insiders spent the day with the FCA at the displays at the Chicago Auto Show, earlier today. While the primary focus was on the launch of the 2019 Ram Heavy Duty Chassis Cabs and the all-new Ram Multi-Function Tailgate, the Dodge brand quietly rolled out two Sublime beauties for the public to see.

The 707 horsepower 2019 Dodge Charger SRT HELLCAT looked amazing in the high-impact heritage color. While the color isn’t exactly a copy of the popular high-impact color from the 1970s, the modern Sublime has a lot more gloss and really shined under the McCormick Place lights. Equipped with the optional black hood and the low gloss black 5-spoke SRT wheels the four-door muscle door looked menacing. The only thing that we wished Dodge would have done was blacked out the rear spoiler on the trunk lid.

My OCD is going off with the Challenger having a blacked out lip spoiler and color hood while the Charger has just the opposite. I'd black out the Charger spoiler and on the Challenger, black out the hood and give it a mild body stripe in black as well.
