Stellantis North America has announced that it will be recalling approximately 18,800 of its 2021 Jeep® Cherokee (KL) models in the United States due to a possible transmission fluid leak that could potentially lead to a fire. The recall covers all three available engines in the Cherokee’s lineup ranging from the 2.4-liter Tigershark inline-four-cylinder, the 3.2-liter Pentastar V6, and the turbocharged 2.0-liter GME-T4 inline-four-cylinder.

Feel bad for factory workers who’s work is not at fault, but the problems rest on the suppliers. Seems these quality issues can too often be traced to suppliers for cutting corners and causing recalls. To these Jeep factory workers, please note, my 2019 Cherokee is very well built, thank you.
