They'll need a lot of work if CMP is the base for Small platform.

The other three are non other than EMP2/eVMP, Giorgio and Ram BOF architecture.
The folks who thought the company was going to invest into ''full- line'' for Chrysler should be upset, because to me it pretty much details a redesign of the RAM family which is pretty cash & resource intensive.

AFAIK electrified L cars platform is already underway and it predates creation of Stellantis.

What does the L in LEV stand for? Does LEV only include cars with a plug?

Electric grid won't be able to hold all these EVs
I don't like omission of PHEV tech in the long run. I'm sure that @patfromigh agrees with me.

On one slide they've highlighted only JVs, only so to speak in house production. And of course it all comes from PSA.

PSA in comparison to FCA has very different policy. FCA wants to deliver the best possible products which consume time. Of course FCA has much more advanced development methods so it doesn't take more than for PSA. But FCA tends to do what I call "fine development". Some additional development for vehicle purpose, not just fine tune it like PSA is doing. And FCA wants to offer best possible technology.

On the other hand PSA is all about cloning, make many clones as soon as possible at very low price.

For example on electrification front. PSA has a JV with Punch for fake e-DCT. I say fake because it has a single clutch so it can't be DCT.
On the other hand FCA is buying best possible tech. For the European FWD market Getrag/Magna 7 speed wet DCT with built in electric motor which can be P2 MHEV/PHEV. From ZF for RWD line up their 4th gen ZF 8HP.

Or on electric motor front. PSA has JV with Nidec. FCA is buying or will buy electric motor which are state of the art, ZF motors for Maserati. @patfromigh has given nice video about ZF electrification tech which includes this electric motors.

I was thinking that Stellantis will combine best practices from both companies. Aiming high attitude from FCA with quick rollout from PSA. But it seems they are all behind cost cutting PSA policy while advanced FCA's development tools will help with faster development times. I'm sure that @TripleT can say something about development.

What does the L in LEV stand for? Does LEV only include cars with a plug?

It should be Low Emission Vehicle but for sure it stands for both PHEV and BEV.
