In a European market down 12.3% year-over-year in Q1 2022, Stellantis confirmed its strong position in Passenger Cars and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), with a market share of 21% and leadership in major markets (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, and Greece).

Off to the Netherlands, Belgium, Paris and London in May and June, so we have Europe on our mind. I always practice “Mopar Watching” abroad and seeing a Jeep or even an occasional Challenger is fun. Stream and watch a lot of foreign entertainment, translated of course and actually resent not seeing American Mopars on the streets. All these imports here in America upset this Mopar guy.
OK, I own Stellantis stock, glad to see these Stellantis brands succeeding, but come May, it will be American stuff I’ll be looking for over there. Just irks me.

Plenty of US made Jeeps in Europe and the UK. The problem with cars such as the Charger / Challenger is their size makes them unsuitable for many European roads. The mere thought of trying to fit one down the narrow streets of a typical small village does not really compute. Probably why they are npt commonly seen.

FIAT 5oe is on the podium in Europe in Q1, Tesla 3 and Y are 1st and 2nd.

Very good numbers with Italy not a great EV market in Europe.
Like ICE version, the 5oe is a hit all across Europe.

Thats why a midsized RWD/AWD Avenger could prove to be an awesome car. However, I think Stellantis wants to keep Dodge in North America, don't want to take too many sales from Alfa

If Dodge enters Europe with suitably sized, competitively priced and well engineered products Alfa will be history. Unfortunately, Stellantis will be looking to avoid that scenario, however I'd welcome the sight of Dodge personally.

Why waste precious funds to make diluted Dodge models and establishing yet another Stellantis brand in an already bloated brand catalog in Europe? It wouldn't even just steal sales from Alfa.
In fact, since Dodge is not a premium brand it would steal sales to brands such as Fiat or Opel. What's the point in that? Would the american Dodge fans be happy with sub-compact and compact Dodge's with 1.0 or 1.2 3-cylinder engines instead of getting something that actually represents american muscle?

You will like Belgium then. Plenty of Stellantis cars on the streets, and I am talking about the american brands. I see a LOT of Ram's 1500 here. Jeep Gladiator are also somewhat common. Granted I have seen one or two Challengers only.
Jeep Cherokee's or Grand Cherokee's are not that common as well but you see the usual Compass and Renegade.
