About a month ago, the internet was flooded with comments after an article from the Automotive News suggested that the Chrysler 300 Series (LX) and the Dodge Durango (WD) were living on borrowed time and could be discontinued in 2023.

So, yeah makes sense, but what will this mean for Chrysler? I expected them to snatch this spot up?

Is GME-T6 inline-six still on track? Weren't we supposed to see it in late-Q3?

At fist I was a bit surprised at this decision, then I thought the Durango would become a Ram branded SUV but now this move makes a little more sense. That said, many questions remain and the fun for followers in guessing about what happens next continues. Will the Durango be shorter than the Wagoneer and be only a two row? Will the Durango continue its performance styling or tame things down? Will there be two versions, short and long, two row and three row? Will there be a Ram version? There is little chance this big, heavy truck based SUV can be built as a performance vehicle worthy of the Dodge nameplate it may seem or will the TRX be it’s building block and change that thought.
No doubt this new Durango has a future, but the form that future takes remains a mystery and our speculation, theories and wishes will fill these pages until launch. No matter what, it will be fun. Now what about that Hornet?

Do you know if they're planning to launch a new mid-size Dodge SUV. Between the Hornet and the Durango there's room for another SUV.

Finally have time to post again:)…Happy Holiday’s to all.
With that being stated ,to @redriderbob one of Stellantis top executives did kind of confirmed the Durango change at an event that has gone under the radar.
This Executive was part of the early version of Sergio’s pre-Chrysler team at FIAT, and help extracted the infamous $2 billion out of GM!
The executive last name goes with Tea (final hint);).

Watch this, then it may make more sense...
The auto stop upon exit feature is brilliant, unless the car is going 6? Or the system fails. But no system has ever failed, right? Or maybe an officer used to the system gets the car without it one day?
im surprised that made it through the vetting process
