Ram Trucks held a press conference today, before the State Fair of Texas officially kicks off to the public tomorrow. Jim Morrison, Head of Ram Truck Brand, FCA – North America, showed the press their first public look at four new models.

• 2018 Ram 2500 Power Wagon Mojave Sand Edition
• 2018 Ram Heavy Duty Chassis Cab Harvest Edition
• 2018 Ram Heavy Duty Laramie Longhorn "Ram Rodeo" Edition

A little curious he said "all new" when we know production is to remain at Saltillo and its more of a refreshed 4th gen for 2019, correct? I would think the "all new" 5th gen HD would come after it moves to a retooled Warren (like a 2021 model year).

Correct. But he could have easily meant new...

Seem to remember Bob Scheves saying something a few years ago, about how to limit variables it might be a good idea to move a known product to a new line in a new facility rather than starting fresh with both new line and a new vehicle. Don’t know if that’s what’s going on, but fwiw.
