One annoying thing about our 2009 Ram 1500 is the fact that a bump intrudes into the front passenger side footwell. That forces a passenger to shift their feet a bit to the right. Normally, this is not an issue, but last week we drove the Ram home from NJ to Florida in one day. By the end of the day, my wife was noticing how that hump can become really annoying. I took a look and never realized how small the area was for your feet and more importantly, how much your feet shift to the right.
Does anybody know if the this was improved with the 2014 DS refresh? Also, does anybody know if the DT reduced the size of this hump?
Just curious as we start looking at replacing the 2009 Ram. It was great again on the trip to NJ, averaging about 22MPG at an average speed of 67 MPH (According to the GPS).
Thanks,
Doug
