I own a ‘20 cherokee Ltd. About 8 months after i bought it i applied the Torque ceramic coating. I also did it to our 18 month old Compass LTD. It turned out so great I sent pictures to to the Torque company. They wanted to know if they could use the pictures. My Cherokee color is the Slate Blue ...so is a dark color. The Mirror like finish shows up even better. Ive been very impressed with the continued shine and water resistance. I put 2 coasts of Torque on the cherokee. This is my 4th jeep...a ‘03 Liberty that I owned 10 years, a ‘15 cherokee, a ‘19 compass, (my wife’s vehicle-she loves it) and now a ‘20 cherokee.

I had my Grand Cherokee's paint corrected and ceramic coated last year. Day and night difference. It had swirl marks everywhere from the previous owner and you could barely see the purple color through all of the haze, but now in the sunlight it's a very nice, deep purple color. The ceramic isn't easier to clean, though. Just beads the water and maybe looks slightly shinier when clean, but I kept it waxed anyway so the difference in appearance from the ceramic is negligible.

That's interesting. I've applied a ceramic coating to 4 vehicles now, and I always found them easier to clean afterwards.

When we bought the Prius for my wife, it needed a paint correction badly, but I seemed to have to fight to get bugs off it before I coated it. Now all I do is foam the car down, spray it off with my pressure washer and that takes care of the vast majority of dirt. I still wash it by hand after that, but what I have to scrub off is very much reduced.

My parents used to winter in florida before COVID and I'd run their van through a touchless wash when I would go down to visit them and that would get the majority of the bugs off it from their trip down, but it often came home looking like this:

I used to always dread that first wash after they came home, but the first year after I had coated it, I was absolutely blown away by how painless it was to get all the bugs off of it, so I've been a ceramic coating fan ever since, and it keeps the plastics looking fresh.
