Fit is a better term, but you and I know with Topology optimization it was never going to be the same "Platform" it was going to use the starting point and iterate to something to fit the application,

From what I know future of Dodge is very well known and three new models were green lit under ex FCA. One is coming as MY23, two more as MY24. Of course chip crisis could mess with the planned timing.

Next Challenger as small as Giulia? Please, refrain from trolling on this forum. Thank You!

There will still be V8, but can't say for sure about the SP trim or WB design.

I do believe you will see the straight 6 and a 4 cylinder engine augmented by electric powered super chargers or some kind of boosted power. All electric will be the top of the offerings. Agree, the V-8 will be gone but there will be something for most Dodge fans. For others there will be used Hemi cars for decades to enjoy. Mine is safe in my garage no matter what the future holds. Electric may be the anointed talking point for now, but gas powered vehicles will be built for decades and gas will power the millions of internal combustion vehicles that will be prized and driven. Green advocates may have the bully pulpit for now, but reality rules the day. Hemi power is a long term reality and an appreciating financial asset. Electric advocates just howling in the wind as usual and then reality sets in to their surprise. SURPRISE !

I hope that next Charger and Challenger will not have a 4cyl. option.

The success of current generation is because of the « bold » engine choice. In the other hand, Mustang and Camaro are no more MuscleCars with 4cyl. engines, and Dodge took the lead in MuscleCar segment. Who would have imagined this 10 years ago…

For me, with the end of V8s, the perfect engine choice will be new L6 with PHEV option and BEV with record power levels for the next generation.

What is going to happen with Electrics....

Yes they will be faster... but so is a bullet train. Have any of you rode a bullet train or a high speed train. Sure most of you have ridden in plane. It is boring.

Fast but boring is the future. ICE cars will be the retro-fun

You might fall asleep from all the boredom. Becomes a safety issue?

The irony, what platform did we wish the challenger would land on over the last 5+ years...? And I dont disagree with you, seems excessive but when workers from motown speak - I listen. Could also be muddy waters.

It's still mind blowing to me that we have another 2 years before the new cars show up on lots... and that sounds like the earliest. Looking at the more expensive 2022's and the nothing new they offer for I think I'm done. Time to move on from Dodge. The car under the cover in Dodge EV day video looks like a refresh of the wide body Charger nose. Uninspiring to be honest.

Enjoy ...... always garner a lot of "I am out" talk..... that the way you feel try something different. It not clear whether there will be a next Camaro or Mustang, it is unlikely. Especially since you haven't actually seen anything enough to make the claim., For darn sure the new EV and 2024 is NOT a LX, it whole new car.

I be pretty happy myself if they don't depart to far from the successful formula that has managed to kick the trend. But you do you.
