After deciding I was very unhappy with the old forum design I have now switched to what we started using on 5thgenrams last week. With this new style brings some more cusomizability as well.
At the top right beside your username there is a light or moon icon, clicking on that allows you to choose between light or dark style. There is also another icon that looks like a slider with a circle, if you click on that it will present you with these user choosable options.
Beside that will be either a moon or a lightbulb icon depending on what theme you're using. You can click on that to toggle between light and dark theme styles as well.
