Jeep® Tells Dealers About Additional Changes For The 2023 Grand Cherokee (WL) Lineup!

Some Exterior & Interior Color Changes, As Well As, Semiconductor Affected Options...

It seems we have been talking a lot lately about exterior colors on various Jeep® vehicles. The American adventure brand first announced the addition of two new exterior colors for its 2023 Wrangler / Wrangler Unlimited (JL) lineup last month and earlier this week, it again announced the addition of High-Velocity Yellow to its 2023 Jeep Gladiator (JT) pickup.

But thanks to our dealer connections, we are learning some interesting tidbits about more changes coming to the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WL) trio, in terms of color.

Interior color changes. Perhaps that explains the post on Reddit today. Pre Delivery inspection on a Grand Cherokee L with mismatched seatbelt colors. Sad that it got all the way to the dealer before being discovered.

Color mismatch can be just a masterbatch issue between vendors or change over. But I am sure it just a pull error. The first is harder to catch and correct.

I posted about it on a different forum including picture. One dark seltbelt in the rear in a light tan Grand Cherokee L. Reddit comments about third row seats in the new Grand Wagoneer being dark versus the entire light interior. Another about one door having dark panel inside while the other was white. At least two of the three I mention got to the dealerships before getting caught.
