Aftermarket Supplier Shows Public New Truck Cab Shell:

The Jeep community has been very excited about the upcoming 2019 Jeep Wrangler (rumored to be called Scrambler) pickup truck codenamed JT. With the truck due out for production in April of 2019, the Toledo Supplier’s Park in Toledo, Ohio has been revamping the old Jeep Wrangler JK assembly line and getting it ready for production of the new JT.

Utah based aftermarket manufacturer Artec Industries, designs and builds aftermarket accessories for multiple generations of the Jeep Wrangler, Ram Trucks and Ford Super Duty. An interesting post popped up on June 5th, on Artec Indusrties’ Facebook page. Apparently someone with the company, was at the Toledo Supplier’s Park and snapped a picture of a cab shell of upcoming 2019 JT in the paint shop area.

This is the first time we get to see the new JT pickup’s cab structure. For the first time, we get a good look at the roll bar for the cab of this new truck. We posted spy photos of the new JT pickup last month. Those photos showed several of the JT front end features, which shows it was virtually identical. This new photo shows us that the front fenders from the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL, will also be the same on the new truck.

With the new Ram Heavy Duty trucks scheduled to make their debut at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit early next year. It has yet to be answered if the new 2019 Jeep JT pickup will be shown to the public at the LA Auto Show this fall, like the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL was this past year or at the New York International Auto Show in April. New York is set around the same time that the Easter Jeep Safari event goes on in Moab, Utah. So those two events might go hand and hand with the launch of the new Jeep truck.
