I purchased a 2014 Dodge Charger R/T AWD about a year ago and the high beams began to give me problems about four months ago. At first they would go out and if you cycled the switch between low/high and flash to pass they would then work. Now they have gone out completely and will not even come on with flash to pass. Is this a common problem in the 2014 or unique? I have priced a multi-function switch for the column and its around $300. Don't mind spending the money on the part but I don't want to throw money at it or take it to a dealer to spend a ton and then not get the results I expect. Thanks for any input.

Yes, I own two of the cars and never have had any issues with lights. One of my 2014 R/T AWDs has 65k and the other one 100k.
