GT Spirit is making a Gen 5 Viper ACR!

I don't know when it's coming out (I checked the website and it's not under the "Dodge" column yet), but they will be the first diecast manufacturer to make a Fifth-Generation Viper ACR. Here's the link: http://www.diecastsociety.com/gt-spirit-2018-extended-footprint/

Julien Ouvier is (excluding fan-made lego versions) the first person to "make" a Gen 5 ACR. The caveat? He didn't necessarily "make" it. He altered the existing Maisto 1/18th scale Viper by making ACR molds and (brilliantly) put them onto the existing Maisto model. Giving us the chance to see and buy (before they sold out) a diecast ACR.

That (thankfully) has now changed. With GT Spirit becoming the first diecast car producer; that I know of, to make the "King Snake" of Vipers. While the specific ETA date isn't stated, this year seems to be the general date for this model.

Unless you can find someone selling theirs on Ebay, all of the orders have already been completed. And he sold the stuff he used to make the cars (don't know where he sold the kits).

Update: There is now a few videos of this model and pre-ordering seems to be available from some sites!

The model itself can be found on numerous sites (don't know which are reputable and which aren't though). With some variations in price from site to site.
